‼️ MAINTENANCE UPDATE ‼️

This weekend we are doing pitch maintenance & clearing overgrowth, clearing paths for walkers etc at Carreg Yrafon Parc.

We are installing new drainage on the field, levelling the surface so it is safer for everyone that uses the field.

The work will take a couple of days max, this will improve the area as a whole for the community & recreational use of the pitch.

Once this phase is completed it will improve the area for the community, for dog walkers, visitors & the community as whole.

‼️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION ‼️

If people are going to continue to ignore the signs, not listen to us when we tell them to keep there dogs off the pitch, continue to put others in potential danger, then we are going to have to take further action.

A few days ago this happened…was happening most evenings!!!

A repeat offender, on numerous occasions has been told but continues to use the field for the recreation of his dogs.

We know who the person is, what makes it worse is the person in photo has played football, has a family & also understands the dangers of dog mess…

STOP USING OUR FIELD AS A PLAY AREA FOR YOUR DOGS…THE PITCH IS STILL IN USE BY OUR CLUB, CHILDREN IN THE AREA & THE WIDER COMMUNITY.

Yet again we are doing a post about dog mess 🤷‍♂️

We have asked kindly for dog waste to be picked up, put up signs, asked for dog walkers to use the red dog waste bins but it seems some people don’t care.

🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Not only are the black bins that are there for rubbish being used but it is also just being left in the grass.

Also we are still having to remind people that dogs are not allowed on the field FULL STOP.

CHILDREN & ADULTS USE THE FACILITIES, NOT JUST THE PITCH BUT THE SURROUNDING AREA, .

SO GOING FORWARD ANYONE SEEN NOT TO BE FOLLOWING POLICY REGARDING DOG WASTE AND BLATANTLY USING THE PLAYING SURFACE FOR THERE DOGS RECREATION WILL BE

🛑 PHOTOGRAPHED,
🛑CIRCULATED ON SOCIAL MEDIA,
🛑 REPORTED TO ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH,
🛑 LIABLE FOR PROSECUTION.

The dangers & risks are LIFE THREATENING…Some of the people that have been told to stay of the field with there dogs, on numerous occasions have children 🤷‍♂️ It is absolutely bizzare.

WE ARE TRANSFORMING CARREG YRAFON PARC FOR EVERYONE IN THE COMMUNITY & FOR WIDER USE…

This needs to stop before it has a serious impact on someone, there are more & more being hospitalised from the dangers of dog waste through grassroots sports due to the negligence of a few small minded people.
