Dringhouses York Cubs U19s are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Manager to take charge of the team for the upcoming season.

We already have a strong squad with 22 registered players available, and the lads are eager to get the season underway, working hard in training and preparing for the challenges ahead.

Competing in Division 2, this is a great opportunity for someone to get involved in grassroots football and lead a young, talented and motivated squad.

Dringhouses York Cubs U19s are looking for new players aged 16 and over to join the squad for the upcoming season.

Competing in Division 2, the team is made up primarily of players who have just finished at U16s, making it the perfect next step to continue your football journey in a competitive and supportive environment.

A fantastic day on Saturday for Dringhouses Under 15s at the first Rawcliffe Tournament in over 20 years, where we proudly entered two teams, Dringhouses Romans and Dringhouses Vikings.

Both teams played some outstanding football throughout the day and represented the club brilliantly with their attitude, teamwork and determination.

The Romans were superb in the group stages, finishing top of their league to book their place in the Champions Cup Final. They eventually came up against a very strong Wiggington side and, despite a battling performance, finished runners-up after a 2-0 defeat.

The Vikings also enjoyed an excellent tournament, progressing all the way to the Europa Cup Final. After a hard fought game, they kept their composure in the penalty shootout to bring home the Europa League trophy.

A brilliant achievement for both teams and a proud day for the club. Massive congratulations to all the players, coaches and supporters involved.

A big shout out as well to Rawcliffe for hosting such a great tournament and creating a brilliant atmosphere throughout the day. 💥⚽️💪🏆

The Dringhouses Dragon's travelled the short distance to Rawcliffe for their latest tournament and started strongly, topping their mini league after 4 games in impressive fashion to book a place in the Champions Cup semi-final against Rufforth.

The semi-final proved to be a tight and competitive game. Rufforth struck first when their striker managed to squeeze the ball through the legs of the Dragon’s keeper to make it 1-0. The team responded brilliantly though, showing great character and determination with encouragement from the coaches, eventually breaking through to level the game at 1-1.

Then came the dreaded penalty shootout — 3 penalties each before sudden death.

Rufforth’s keeper managed to save our first penalty, while the Dringhouses keeper was desperately unlucky with two of his efforts to keep the ball out. Rufforth edged the shootout and advanced to the final against a very strong Rawcliffe side.

The Dragon’s can hold their heads high after going unbeaten throughout the tournament, only losing out on penalties — one of the cruellest ways to exit any competition.

Pick yourselves up Dragon’s, plenty to be proud of, and we go again in a few weeks 💪🐉

Go out there, enjoy yourselves, play for each other and go grab some silverware if you can! 🥇🔥

All the hard work, training and effort throughout the season has led to days like this — now it’s time to show what you can do.
