the statistics around the proportion of people in Yorkshire & Humber that are classed as overweight or obese are sobering:

6/10 adults in York are estimated to be either overweight or obese. Which contributes to the £6.1bn that it costs our already overstretched NHS to deal with every year, set to rise to £9.5bn by 2050

So there is some urgency in our Mission

And we believe we can make a positive impact on every person we get to help

So that they can feel fitter, healthier and happier

Even if they feel like they've tried everything before

Because we're in this for the long game

Which is reflected in our approach, which we promise will:

✅ Never to just beast you with painful, vomit inducing workouts for the sake of it, because what is the purpose of that other than to push you so hard that you feel horrible and never want to exercise or come back again?

✅ To help you drop the ‘all or nothing’ approach because that's just another way to set yourself up to be hard on yourself when you ‘fail'

✅ Never to force you do things you hate, because we believe everyone deserves to find something that they genuinely enjoy when it comes to getting fitter and healthier

They can’t help it…

Your kids, or those closest to you are watching you coast through life.

They’re watching you settle for “average.”

Watching every time you say:
“Maybe next year.”
“When things calm down.”
“I just need to think about it.”
“I’ve got a lot on”

They’re watching you put your goals, health, and happiness on hold again.

They notice when you stop challenging yourself.

When you play small.

When you procrastinate instead of taking action.

When you spend more time talking about who you used to be than building who you still could become.

And whether you realise it or not, they learn from it.

They learn what your version of adulthood looks like.

What standards look like.

What self respect looks like.

Watching my clients push themselves today at .dozen reminded me why I created the Reignition Movement™️.

It’s not just about fitness.

It’s about showing up and having the tenacity to challenge yourself,

proving to yourself that you can take back control of your life.

At any age.

Every time you push past the doubt, the fatigue, or the “I can’t do it,” you remind yourself of your own strength - physically and mentally.

This is what I deem the essence of Reignition: reclaiming belief in yourself

Getting clarity on what you actually want

and building momentum by taking action in your life, one step at a time.
