Where here to support your training and development needs. We offer a range of courses and workshops, which can be undertaken in a variety of delivery styles, including online learning. We carefully select our tutors, to ensure that our learners have access to some of the industry's leading experts. To ensure that our courses are accessible to as many individuals as possible, we offer flexible payment methods, including the option to pay for courses in monthly instalments.

** CALLING ALL LIFEGUARDS ** Do you need to gain some additional CPD hours? Are you a student living away from home? Come train with YSA!

We are offering multiple 3 hour CPD sessions to lifeguards and NRASTC/NRASTC LIGHT holders needing to do additional training for only £30!!

🌟Today our 11 candidates took their first steps in becoming swimming assistants!

👩🏼‍🏫Over the next few days we will be sharing what they get up to during the theory side of their qualification

🏊🏾Tomorrow they will put what they’ve learnt so far in to practice by assisting our swimming lessons under tutor Marks supervision!

This week is Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK drowning prevention week.

The RLSS have published some fantastic resources aimed at children to help them understand how to recognised risks, understand what to do to minimise the chance of an accident and how to respond in an emergency situation ⬇️

Lifeguards are a huge part of water safety education. The RLSS also offer a a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. This is the most awarded lifeguard qualification in the UK and Ireland and is also internationally recognised. More that 46,000 pool lifeguards qualify with the RLSS UK every year.

Amy is currently working as a Assistant Educational Psychologist and even though she doesn’t teach swimming lessons regularly anymore she still uses many skills learnt on her Swimming Teacher courses.

Being a swimming teacher has allowed Mimi to still earn whilst studying full time at university.

Working as a swimming teacher can be a full time job but with many shifts ranging from 1-4 hours in the evenings it is perfect for students.

Sian completed her SEQ Baby and Toddler course with us back in January. Since then she has started leading parent and child classes along side her role of Learn to Swim Manager.

It’s the perfect example of how our qualifications can lead to a full time job in aquatics!
