Morning folks its race week and the kids are buzzing to get back to the track for the European finals Santa Pod Raceway its going to be a great weekend with some of the fastest vehicles you'll ever see and the juniors racing as part of the pro session so get yourself to the track and have the best weekend of the year where everyone is fighting for the top spot its going to be a great weekend and if you cant get to the track then jump on the live stream so you dont miss the action

Well we are at the track and set up after a few days at the campsite with lots of swimming games and scavenger hunts the kids are now in race mode bikes are all prepped and ready to go.

The team are heading over to Germany for the 2nd round of the fime European championship. Both hollie and jaxon are riding in juniors this will be hollies last time racing in hockenheim
First were heading to a campsite for a few days with some of the other juniors for a little breakaway.
The heat is looking to continue while we're there 🥵. Will post a live link to watch online next week 👀

Another tricky weekend at bugjam Santa Pod Raceway with just 1 rider entered for this event we got to the track early after jaxons issues the 2 previous rounds we had his smaller bike out .. we knew the back brake was a little soft so we bled it up and had a good brake .. but it wouldn't hold on the brake al morrison junior lent us a master cylinder to try sort the issue but to no avail so we had to pull away rather than launch the bike the numbers was spot on getting number 2 qualifying position in a real tight field then Sunday came the bike wouldn't start we think the starter button packed uo so a quick hot wire and good to go (thanks to simon holgate rugrat racing) for giving us a spare button to get us going again eliminations was always going to be hard we had harry issacs first round ahd we couldn't get the bike to react dialling in a 9.02 and running a 9.05 we couldnt of asked anymore of jaxon but he lost on reaction time at the top end .. so we have some more to fix before heading to hockenheim in a few weeks time

Well we had a mixed weekend .. we managed to get the gremlins out of hollies bike arrow straight and running great .. dipping her back into the 8's at a whooping 150.7 mph giving a new speed PB

Jaxon had a great start to the weekend running great numbers and reaction times really getting a handle of his new bike ... unfortunately 1st round of eliminations the engine let go on the start line. We never want to see a failure like this but rather the start line that the finish line ... piston failure snapped and twisted the rod massive amount of damage huge thank you to Keith Pollen who took the engine and had it apart before his holiday this morning we will be back with it but maybe not for a couple of meetings

Huge shout out to all the track crew and marshalls Santa Pod Raceway it was a hot weekend and everyone's efforts are hugely appreciated

A good weekend racing but with its problems but good weather and a great track crew made for some good racing

Hollie had issues with the et bike but tha ks to Micheal piggott for some tuning work on the laptop the bike ran sweet as a nut after we hope he recovers quickly from the accident.

Hollie qualified top half of the ladder but was a little late on the tree so although ran a 9.10 on a 9.05 dial in lost to tom great race though and the bikes looking good up the track again ..

Jaxon had a great qualifying round at this event putting him in the top half of the ladder as well but run into clutch issues last run .. we adjusted it all up and thought it was sorted. Unfortunately round 1 of eliminations the problem was back and worse pulling him straight through the tree we managed to find the issue... through the hole in the casing it made 🙄🫢 but its fixable and we will be back out again next event doing what we love

And thats a wrap on the main event 2026 and what a 4 days of racing ... hollie back out on her junior bike for the last ...

And thats a wrap on the main event 2026 and what a 4 days of racing ... hollie back out on her junior bike for the last year and jaxon going back on his automatic 125cc for the times he can run in FIM .. anyway so absolute fantastic qualifying by all. First round eliminations see Jaxon vs Harry with jaxon pulling a stout 0.18 reaction time and
being closer to his dial in but Harry taking the win with a tree advantage less than 400ths at the line so a great race and he was pleased he got so close.
Hollie had Brad first round and took the win and annouk in round 2 hollie had a shifter problem but a breakout gave hollie the win .. a bye run in the semi finals and we thought we had the shifting sorted out but it raised its head in the finals against Harry and not being able to get out of first gear Harry winning the finals "well done rat boy" hollie pulled to the side of the track and had to be recovered by the santa pod track crew ... before we packed down we managed to find the problem a very bent shift rod so we will have that removed and changed so we dont get time issue again fingers crossed ..

A huge thank you to all the staff at Santa Pod Raceway who worked tirelessly and the blazing sun all weekend your worknis appreciated 👏 💐

Well that's the springspeed nationals over and done with .. with only 1 bike out for this event as hollie was on work experience so jaxon was the main focus and he done a absolutely fantastic job getting to grips with the new geared bike .. unfortunately breaking out in eliminations but setting yet again a new pb of 9.43 seconds at 70.75mph so at 11 years old the boy has cracked a speed over the national UK speed limit already 😁😁😁😁

Keith Pollen who turned the big 60 this weekend hope you had a great night and all the help you've give us to get the RV onnthe road
