π About Somerset Equine (Pt 1) π
π Hi, Iβm Jo, the face behind Somerset Equine
π Iβve done a few posts recently as to the services that Somerset Equine can offer but why should you put your trust in me?
π With over 25 years experience, a degree in Equine Science, BHS Stages and ownership of numerous horses & ponies over the years, itβs clear to see that horses are my absolute passion!
π Iβve have experience working with horses ranging from competition horses to ex racehorses to riding school ponies (which could be like entering the shark tank at feeding times π).
π Iβve competed from a young age, starting with pony club moving to county level showing & working hunter to British Dressage and spent a couple of days with the hounds. Iβve taken a break from competing but hoping to get out later this year and still take a keen interest in British Dressage & British Eventing.
π I have two horses, Darcy & Pride, who are treated like kings and I aim to treat all my clients horses the same. All horses are cared for at a high standard as well as treated to cuddles π₯°
π Equine welfare is really important to me and I hold myself to high standards. Whether Iβm taking care of competition horses or a family horse, they are all treated equally.
π If you donβt want to take my word for it, Iβd be happy to provide references of previous employees!
