Respectfully don’t want to hear it 😚😚

It’s not always about eating less and moving more when you’re 130kg+

I’m not disputing that yes it’s the fundamentals to losing the weight

But you have to look at how you got there in the first place

Why you got there in the first place

Triggers you may have whether it’s food or exercise

Why now is different to the 10 times before

How are you going to keep the weight off

Answering these will make or break your fat loss journey and how well you do

& that’s the honest truth

When I was at my heaviest, I thought losing 30kg+ would solve everything.

That I’d finally feel confident.
That I’d finally love my body.
That I’d never have insecurities again.

The truth?

Weight loss changes your body, but it doesn’t magically change the way you think.

You can lose 30kg and still have days where you don’t feel your best.
You can lose 30kg and still pick yourself apart in photos.
You can lose 30kg and still have things you’re working on.

But what does change is how you show up for yourself.

You build discipline.
You build resilience.
You learn that you can do hard things.
You stop relying on motivation and start trusting yourself.

And that’s where the real transformation happens.

If you’re currently trying to lose weight, remember this:

Don’t put your life on hold until you reach a certain number on the scales.

Why?

Because all you’ll end up doing is chasing something that might never be enough

Your confidence isn’t waiting at your goal weight.

Honestly, I’ve never hidden away from wearing a bikini on holiday
But I haven’t felt confident and I’ve been so conscious of what I look like
It’s been SO freeing the past week to be able to just enjoy the holiday, get some dodgy tan lines and not worry (as much) about what my body looks like
Yes l’ve still got goals to achieve BUT the fact I can have a picture like this and want to post it because of the progress I’ve ALREADY made
Take this as an opportunity to remind yourself of your progress, away from the numbers e
Do you need a little bit of guidance going into the second half of the year?

HAPPY SATURDAYYYY - today marks the start of some time off for me with TWO WHOLE WEEKS in Rhodes ☀️😎

I wanted to use it as a reminder for both myself and to anyone on a weightloss, body composition or health kick journey

You can do it

You will do it

It just might take you some time

The left was me before my holiday 2 years ago and before my 2nd knee surgery

The right was me yesterday morning doing my final check in before holiday

The difference - I was 20st in the first one and am now 15st

That’s a whole 5 stone difference in nearly two years

Even qualified professionals can take their time reaching their goals - remember that 👀

I’ve got some NEWSSSSSS

From the 1st of June I won’t be a fitness coach anymore 🥲🥲🥲

I’ll be a FULL RENT PERSONAL TRAINER 🥳🥳🥳🥳

I am making the leap and am going FULLY self employed with my business

It’s not been an easy decision, definitely coming with a level of discomfort around taking the leap

From debating staying as a personal trainer

To having 3 months off with knee surgery, concerned I’d have a business to come back too

But, I’ve done it and I’m SO bloody proud of myself 😭🌟

This is to my clients and everyone who has supported me and my business

Because you’ve believed in me, not just as coach but a person

Ive been able to do it 🌟

Another week, another lot of steps, check ins, sessions

These past couple of weeks have been FULL of chaos really with new things coming at work, finding some better life balance and just making sure I’m looking after myself too

But, goals are still being ticked, photos are showing some changes which we’re happy about

We also tried the stairmaster for the first time since knee surgery 18 months ago

2 lots ticked off - 20 and 25 minutes without stopping

I genuinely hadn’t realised how much progress I’d made physically not just aesthetically

Before, 20+ minutes on the stairmaster would be in 5-10 minute intervals

This has been a very VERY big indicator to me this week, that even if the scales are stagnant, things aren’t moving …

There are SO many ways that you can see progress

Here’s to another week🤝🏼
