⚽️ MATCH REPORT | SEAHAM UNITED 🆚 LEVEN JUNIORS⚽️

An early start saw the boys travel to Seaham for a tough opening fixture in our new Division 10 campaign.

The team made a bright start and looked a real attacking threat, but Seaham upped the intensity and managed to push us back into our own half before half time.

After a regroup and a positive team talk, the boys went again in the second half. Everyone worked hard for each other, battled to win the ball and pushed the opposition back.

Unfortunately, we couldn't get the winning result today, but plenty of lessons were learned and the boys will come back stronger and ready for the next challenge.

What better way to celebrate the Juniors’ fantastic achievement of promotion to TJFA Division 10 than with a little ch*****ne celebration! 🍾🥂

And before anyone asks… 😂 the ch*****ne was 100% alcohol-free! 🥂😉

Now the celebrations are over, it’s time to get back to business…

Our first match is this Sunday, and we can’t wait to see the boys step out and start this new chapter. ⚽️

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Leven Juniors have been promoted! 🎉🏆

After everything the boys have achieved, we’re incredibly proud to say that for the 2026–27 season, we will be competing in TJFA Division 10!

One team.

One massive achievement.

⚽️ Pre-Season is Underway! ⚽️

The juniors were back in action yesterday with a pre season friendly against a newly formed team.

This time last year, we were the new team finding our feet, so it was brilliant to see another group starting out on their own journey. The progress our players have made over the last 12 months has been phenomenal, and it's a real credit to the hard work, commitment and attitude they've shown throughout the year.

While we're pleased to come away with the win, the opposition showed plenty of quality and gave us a glimpse of what's to come. We know exactly where they are in their journey, and we're sure they'll continue to grow as the season goes on.

A big thank you to everyone involved, and we wish the opposition all the very best for the season ahead.

⚽️ Parents' Player of the Year Award – Luke #9 ⚽️

A huge congratulations to Luke #9, this season's winner of the Parents' Player of the Year Award 🏆⚽

This award is voted for by the parents and is a reflection of the impact a player has had throughout the season, both in their performances and in the way they represent the team. Luke is a very deserving recipient.

Luke has absolutely bossed the midfield this season. His determination, commitment, and sheer will to win have made him one of the most influential players on the pitch. Every game, he gives everything he has, setting the tone for the team with his relentless energy and fearless approach.

Without doubt one of the toughest players in the squad, Luke's intensity has left many opposition players struggling to cope. Time and time again, he has battled through heavy challenges and tough treatment from opponents, only to pick himself up, dust himself off, and carry on as if nothing had happened.

Some of those challenges would have been enough to stop many players in their tracks, but Luke has always shown incredible resilience and character. In true Luke fashion, he's often responded in the best possible way, by getting back to his feet and producing a moment of quality, including some truly outstanding free kicks.

Beyond the goals and highlights, Luke's leadership, determination, and never-say-die attitude have been an inspiration to his teammates and a joy for parents and supporters to watch throughout the season.

Luke, you have been an absolute pleasure to watch this year. Your goals, performances, and contributions have been some of the very best football we have seen, and this award is thoroughly deserved.

A huge congratulations to Isaac #7, this season's winner of the Players' Player of the Year Award 🏆⚽

This award is especially significant because it was voted for by the team. It represents the highest praise a player can receive from their teammates and shows that they see you not only as a talented footballer but also as someone they can rely on when the game gets tough.

Isaac has been a joy to watch throughout the season. His technical ability, combined with his flair and creativity, makes every performance an exciting one. Every time he laces up his boots, he brings energy, confidence, and quality to the pitch.

Time and time again, Isaac has entertained coaches, parents, and teammates alike with his ability to drive through midfield, beat players, and create goal-scoring opportunities. His vision and skill on the ball have played a huge part in many of the team's best attacking moments this season.

What has made Isaac stand out even more is the effort he puts in when the team doesn't have possession. His willingness to track back, cover ground, battle for the ball, and support the defence has been every bit as impressive as his attacking play. He leads by example and never stops working for the team.

To be recognised by your teammates in this way is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the respect and admiration they have for you both as a player and as a teammate.
