Although I wrote this in 2020, it feels as relevant to now, 2026, as it did then.
Remember you have within you the ability to change your life experience and the smallest change can have the biggest impact.
Sometimes your goal is just the next step, perhaps a different step or a different path. Who knows where that could lead? 💜
And sometimes you need the support of another person to discover what that is.
2020 Vision
I think we can all agree that this year has turned out to be not as we expected.
In eyesight terms 20-20 vision means it's perfect you can see exactly what's in front of you, you know exactly what's going on around you and you can see where you are headed.
Far from the case at the moment in this country and all over the world. It feels like we are holding our breath, waiting for the mist to clear, to see a way forward.
So how has your vision of 2020 changed over the last few months?
What has been brought into clearer perspective for you?
What re-evaluations have you made?
How have you changed your life and the way that it works for you?
Or do you feel stuck between your expectations and your reality, anxious, not able to see a future, a clear way forward?
You don't know which way to turn or how to change things to make it better for you so that you feel more relaxed, less anxious and unstuck?
The reality is it's all about the plan and if your plan hasn't come through for 2020 then perhaps you need to change what you were thinking and have a new plan.
When my contract finished in Jersey, working with an international bank I had no idea what my next step was or where. I'd lived on the island for 2 fabulous years, made life long friends and felt very sad to be leaving, Jersey felt like my home.
My manager offered me an opportunity working for the bank in London or the Isle of Man? Where? I had no idea and on a map saw this tiny island between Liverpool and Ireland.
London had lost its appeal to me after working in Liverpool Street for 3 months, so the Isle of Man it was, for a year. Colleagues said I was mad, they had horizontal rain in the Isle of Man!
As the plane taxied down the runway, leaving Jersey, the tears were rolling down my cheeks, I'd never felt so sad to leave anywhere and had no idea what was waiting for me.
As we drove from Ronaldsway Airport in the Isle of Man to the hotel, the beauty of the island made my heart sing. Big open spaces, green rolling fields and tall majestic trees on the hills. The hotel was on a golf course and would be my home for the next few months until I found a home to rent. It felt peaceful.
My new life soon took on it's own shape and familiarity. I made more life long friends on my 7 year Isle of Man journey.
I was married to my 2nd husband in a beautiful little church in Crosby and sadly bid farewell to our 4 babies that were miscarried.
I began my journey to become the Life Change Lady and lived a very good life in a loving, caring, fulfilling relationship.
What was my plan when I arrived in the Isle of Man, just the next step - to arrive, settle and see what happened, the Universe did the rest.
Bearing in mind your experience over the first 8 months of 2020 what is it you want for the last 4 months of 2020?
How can you make that a reality and improve your life quality, your life balance your comfort and ultimately your happiness?
BIG QUESTIONS & YOU HAVE THE ANSWERS
Sitting on the plane to the Isle of Man my hopes were for peace, friends and a life I loved in a place I loved. The hotel was where I made some of those life long friends and through them I met my husband. Little did I know when I checked in 💜.
Your answers are within you sometimes you need a little help and support in identifying what you want, what it is you need to do and where you are going. Sometimes for the next step, sometimes the next chapter of your life.
What opportunities are there for you? What do you want from your life?
And that's where I come in as a support for you, as a transformational life coach I can help you create the life you love that loves you back.
That may sound a bit precious and fluffy but actually what it means is that for everything you do you get a reward.
That reward is feeling good about who you are, the life that you're living, the people that you mix with and ultimately where you're heading, every day.
I specialise in supporting people who have experienced emotional abuse, bullying and feel unworthy. Often this makes you a big people pleaser sacrificing your own happiness to please others so they like you and you can feel good about who you are.
It's a learned behaviour, you weren't born that way and you can change it.
If you'd like some clarity for your next few months, getting some 20-20 vision on your way forward message me with your questions and challenges, maybe I can give you a different perception that may give you the clarity that you're looking for.
