🔥 WHAT A START TO OUR TRIALS 🔥

Our first trial session of the season was a huge success, and if Wednesday night was anything to go by, the future is incredibly exciting for Worksop Town Ladies.

The standard on display was outstanding, with an excellent mix of players ranging from those taking their first steps into senior football to experienced players who have previously represented clubs including Chesterfield, Rotherham and Doncaster Belles.

For us, this demonstrates exactly what we're building at Worksop Town Ladies.

As a promotion-winning club with ambitious plans both on and off the pitch, it was fantastic to see players from all backgrounds and levels recognising the environment, pathway and opportunities available within our club.

The quality, attitude and commitment shown throughout the session was first-class, and our coaching team were hugely impressed by the talent on display.

What stood out most was the number of players who want to be part of our journey and buy into our vision of raising standards in women's football.

⚽ WHAT A WEEKEND FOR WORKSOP TOWN LADIES 🐯

What a fantastic weekend it has been for everyone connected with Worksop Town Ladies.

On Friday evening, we had the privilege of celebrating our successful season together at the leagues presentation evening, where the squad proudly received their runners-up and promotion-winning trophies. It was a brilliant opportunity for players, coaches, volunteers and supporters to come together and reflect on what has been a memorable campaign.

The evening highlighted everything that makes this group special. We are not just a football team when the final whistle blows – we are a family. Seeing so many people come together to celebrate our achievements was a testament to the culture that continues to grow within the club.

The celebrations didn't stop there. Today, a number of our First Team players and coaching staff attended the Worksop Town Girls Tournament, where we witnessed some incredible young talent coming through the pathway.

It was fantastic to see our players presenting trophies, chatting with participants and supporting the next generation of footballers. These moments are so important. They demonstrate that representing Worksop Town Ladies is about more than performances on the pitch; it's about being role models, inspiring young players and showing what can be achieved through hard work, commitment and passion for the game.

For those young girls, we hope seeing our players today gives them something to aspire to. We want them to dream of one day pulling on the black and gold shirt and representing Worksop Town Ladies themselves.

Now, attention turns to the future.

🏆 PROMOTION HAS GOT IN THE WAY OF TRAINING TONIGHT

We would like to apologise to anyone planning to attend training.

Unfortunately, training has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict...

The entire squad appears to be busy in Barnsley collecting a trophy for gaining promotion. 🏆😉

In all seriousness, what an incredible year it has been for Worksop Town Ladies

As part of our five-year plan, our ambition has always been to establish ourselves within Tiers 5 and 6 of the women's football pyramid. We've deliberately taken the harder route, never accepting promotion unless we felt we had truly earned it by finishing in the promotion places and building the foundations required to compete at the next level.

This season has been another huge step forward, and the commitment, dedication and professionalism shown by every player, coach and volunteer has been outstanding.

The exciting part? We're not done yet.

The squad is already focused on next season and fully committed to pushing forward in pursuit of another promotion and continuing the upward trajectory of the club.

We're also looking forward to establishing a Development Team, creating a clear pathway for players transitioning from our junior section into adult football. Our aim is to provide a supportive, challenging and developmental environment where young players can continue to grow within the women's game.

This is the culture and ethos we are committed to building: raising standards, creating opportunities and helping every player become the best version of themselves both on and off the pitch.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the journey so far. The future is looking very exciting for Worksop Town Ladies.

We are incredibly proud of Worksop Town Ladies for their massive climb up the regional rankings!
Jumping up 6 places to 34th overall among all Sheffield & Hallamshire Women’s Football Clubs is a huge testament to the squad's hard work.

In just our second season, the team's achievements speak for themselves:

🏆 Reached the semi-finals of the Shield competition.

⬆️ Gained Promotion! Finishing a phenomenal 2nd out of 12 in the Sheffield & Hallamshire Div 4

⚽ Secured an impressive 2.23 Points Per Game along the way.
