🐅 OUR U12s ARE BACK IN LEAGUE ACTION!

What an outstanding first game of the season for the boys! 👏⚽️

From the very start, the boys showed drive, commitment and determination, creating chances and putting the opposition under pressure.

After going 1–0 down in the first minute following an unlucky deflection, the boys didn’t let it phase them. From that moment on, the Tigers pushed forward with wave after wave of attacks, eventually securing a dominant 9–2 victory! 🔥

A fantastic team performance, with slick passing, great movement and brilliant teamwork showing exactly what this group of boys can do. 💪

Our worksop town U10s got the new season underway this morning away at Worsbrough.
With a few new players added to the team over the summer we knew it would take time for them to gel. However we took the lead after 10 mins with a lovely strike from our captain RH. However the opposition hit back shortly after with a great free kick which he bent round wall and in off the post. Shortly after after we broke we git caught out at the back and conceded again. We then had a few chances ourselves but the opposition keeper made 3 great saves. Whilst we were getting back on top they broke through only to be denied from a great stop from our keeper
Half time 2-1 down, we came out abit sloppy and our goalkeeper made 2 or 3 great stops to keep the score at 2-1, then with a quick counter attack and 3 simple passes JD broke free and slotted home to level the scoreline on his debut for the young tigers, however Worsbrough hit straight back with a lovely finish then soon after the scored a 4th to put the game to bed. Alot of positives to take from today and some stand out performances but today's halo hydration MOM went to TP. T was an absolute rock today winning all his personal battles and at times was left exposed by his midfield well done T. Tigers U9's Players Of The Match - The Whole Team! 🐯

What a performance from the Tigers today!
The work rate from the whole team was exceptional, with everyone putting a real shift in for each other.
We found a great balance between passing and moving the ball, while still showing plenty of individual skill and bravery to take players on. There was some exceptional finishing and some fantastic individual assists that were a real pleasure to watch.
Defensively, we were solid and organised, while going forward we looked a constant attacking threat.
Most importantly, it was brilliant to get off the mark and start the season in such a positive way. A really strong all-round team performance from everyone — well done, Tigers! 🐯⚽️👏

⚽️⚽️Tigers U9's POTM ⚽️⚽️

A was an absolute boss in defence today!
He was composed and level-headed throughout, making some excellent tackles that were strong, fair and perfectly timed.
His ability to read the game was superb, regularly anticipating what the opposition were going to do and putting himself in the right place at the right time.
He gave the team a real sense of calm and confidence at the back and showed exactly what a strong defensive performance should look like.
A fantastic display from A today — absolutely brilliant! 💪⚽️

Well done today Tigers! A solid end to a productive pre season. Time to kick on for the new season Sunday 🐯
