Last night, Seaton Athletic held our 2025/26 Presentation Night, and what a fantastic night it was! 🟠⚫️⚽️

The evening got off to a brilliant start with a bouncy castle and sumo suits, which the team absolutely loved! There were hot dogs and chips, great music, and a raffle that had everyone laughing. 😳😂 It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves and having such a great time.

We also got to celebrate one of our team’s birthdays. Happy Birthday, Jack! 🎉🥳🎂 We hope you had an amazing day!

Presentation Night isn’t just about celebrating achievements—it’s also sometimes about saying goodbye to teammates who are moving on. Last night, we said goodbye and good luck to Theo, who won’t be with us next season. From everyone in the Seaton Athletic family, we wish you all the very best for the future. You’ll always be part of the Seaton athletic family. 💪🟠⚫️⚽️

A huge thank you to the Presentation Committee for all their hard work in organising such a brilliant evening. 🧡 Thank you as well to all our parents for your continued support throughout the season—it really is appreciated.

Seaton Athletic are officially done with festival season 2026.

What a season it has been! Two festivals back-to-back really tested us, especially being placed in the top-banded groups. It was tough, but the team kept their heads held high, gave everything in every game, and I couldn’t be any prouder of every single one of them.

Our final festival of the season was today at Team Evie, and what a great morning for football! We played some fantastic football and battled our way to the semi-finals, where we were knocked out by our old friends, Workington Juniors White. Well played.

With our presentation night next week, we officially bring the 2025/26 season to a close.

A huge thank you to all of our sponsors – your generosity really helps make this team possible. Thank you also to all of the parents for your continued support throughout the season. And finally, a massive well done to every player. Your hard work, determination, and team spirit have made this season one to remember. 🟠⚽️⚫️🫡

Seaton v Workington

First friendly after the 25/26 season ended saw Seaton take on our old friends Workington Whites — and what an action-packed game it was! 🟠⚫️⚽️

A fantastic match full of hard but fair tackles, clean passing, and plenty of goals from both sides. Both teams put in a great shift today, finishing with an exciting penalty shootout.

A huge thank you to Workington for the invite — we hope to return the favour and see you again at Meadowvale soon! 🟠⚫️

MOM today went to George — a well-deserved achievement that’s been a long time coming. 🏆 Chosen by both Workington and Seaton coaches, George worked tirelessly in every position he played, but really stepped up when moved upfront, where he capped off his performance with a well-earned goal.

Well done George — keep up the hard work! 🟠⚫️🫡

Game 21 – Seaton vs Windscale

The final league game of the 25/26 season, and what a way to finish!

We started slowly in the first quarter, but soon found our rhythm. The team battled hard throughout, putting in strong tackles, showing great passing and playmaking, and creating plenty of chances in front of goal.

Our defence held firm under pressure, and our keeper was tested, but the team stayed composed and determined—coming away with a brilliant 5–4 win. What a game! ⚫️🟠⚽️

Special mentions today:

* Jack & Chad – Outstanding in defence. Solid performances from both, well done boys! ⚽️
* Theo – Put to the test today but stood strong in goal. Keep up the hard work! 🥅
* Sam I – Worked his socks off up front and earned himself a well-deserved goal. Great effort! ⚽️
* Alfie – Last week’s Man of the Match, and this week scored an outstanding goal no one saw coming. Brilliant! ⚽️💪

A hat-trick today, but that’s only part of the story. Sam worked tirelessly in every position he played. He was unstoppable up front, using his speed and control to put Windscale under pressure, and just as solid when dropping back into defence. A complete performance—very well deserved! 🟠⚫️⚽️🫡

Game 20: Seaton Athletic vs Maryport

10am kick-off for Seaton Athletic, and what an action-packed game it was! The weather stayed on our side, although the wind was wild 👍💨

From the first whistle, both teams came out strong, pushing hard for the win. There were some tough (but fair) tackles, quality long balls, and some brilliant goals from both sides. Unfortunately, it didn’t go our way this time, with the game finishing 4–5 to Maryport. Despite that, our heads never dropped — in true Athletic style, we fought right until the final whistle.

Man of the Match today goes to Alfie 🏆
Chosen by both the Maryport and Seaton coaches, Alfie was outstanding in every position he played. He pressed hard, tackled strongly, and showed great quality on the ball throughout. A fully deserved award — well done, Alfie! 🟠⚫️

Game 19

Seaton Athletic vs Whitehaven
It was a Saturday morning kick-off for Seaton today and another tough game. With plenty of hard tackles, clean passes, and some really good long balls being played throughout.
At one point, Seaton found themselves 4 goals behind, but true to Athletic spirit, the team never gave up. They kept pushing, showed great determination, and managed to pull back three excellent goals before the final whistle.

Player of the Match 🏆 goes to Theo, who was outstanding once again in goal and worked his socks off 💪🥅. The final score could have been very different if it wasn’t for his brilliant saves — he really did his team proud. Well done Theo, fully deserved 🏆👏

As a team, we take both wins and losses with our heads held high and a smile on our faces. We move on together and look forward to the next game 🟠⚫️⚽️🫡

Game 18
Seaton Athletic vs Miners Blue

Seaton Athletic played one of our toughest and most competitive games today, with every player being tested from start to finish. It was full-on right from kickoff, with some great passages of play and plenty of strong tackles going in.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t our day, but in true Seaton Athletic style, we keep our heads up and look ahead to the next game. ⚫️🟠⚽️🫡

Man of the Match was a very tough decision and came down to two outstanding players. The award goes to J for his determination and resilience on the ball. Well done, J — you did your team proud! ⚫️🟠🏆

Special mention goes to Theo for his outstanding goalkeeping today. He was really tested in goal but stayed strong and pulled off some excellent saves. Brilliant effort — keep up the hard work! 🟠⚫️🥅

Finally, Seaton Athletic are always looking for ways to improve and gain that extra edge… even if it means turning up without shorts to try and be a bit faster! 😳😂🩳

Game 17 – Seaton Athletic vs Dearham

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Seaton Athletic mums. ⚫️🟠❤️
Game 17 kicked off this morning at 9am with the wind blowing and the rain coming down hard 💨☔️ — but that wasn’t going to stop us.
The game was full-on from the start. We pressed hard, tackled well, and ran the ball forward with confidence. We put in some outstanding crosses and had plenty of shots on goal.
The first goal of the game, scored by Sam D, was also Seaton Athletic’s 100th goal of the season 💪.
All the hard work paid off, with Seaton Athletic taking home the win. Well done today, lads — keep up the hard work!

The determination he showed today was brilliant. The runs he made, the crosses he delivered, some excellent tackles, and of course some classy goals all earned him Man of the Match.
