A brand-new season, a brand-new campaign โ and the perfect way to kick things off. We also welcomed a couple of new signings into the squad for their first minutes, they brought plenty of quality to the team. It was fantastic to see them settle in, make an impact and add another dimension to an already strong squad.
From the first whistle, the squad looked focused, organised and together. Outstanding individual performances combined with brilliant collective synergy meant that everyone played their part and everyone made an impact.
The game plan was clear, the intensity was there and the quality on the ball was excellent. We moved the ball well, found the spaces and exploited the gaps, creating some exciting attacking moments and finishing with some fantastic goals. We had several other chances from crossbars to posts, goal line clearances too.

Playing away from home is never easy, especially against a good side on the first game of the season. The team stuck to the game plan, showing clear structure from back to front, winning duel after duel and looking explosive on the break.โ
