I entered the impromptu parents race at sports day, im not built for running or speed so came last. But my daughter wanted me to do it so I did. Wouldn't have done that a couple of years ago, but trying to say yes to as much as possible.

Public speaking still makes me really nervous, but it pushes me to do more, say more, be better.

I have a good life. A career I care about, people I love and lots to be grateful for.

But some of the times I’ve felt most alive have been when I've pushed myself out of my comfort zone. Joining Toastmasters, standing on a high ropes course, travelling somewhere new.

How many other people feel the same? Not unhappy, but aware there is more life to be lived?

When was the last time you felt alive??
