FC Sutton HKER 0️⃣ - 1️⃣ The Elms

A statement win against a strong opposition.

It was a fairly even first half with Elms keeper Elsky making two smart savesπŸ‘Œ

We came out in the second half with the right mindset and that showed in the early stages πŸ”₯

With 10 minutes to go, the gaffer tweaked the formation putting the OAP up top and BOSH, you’d blink and you would miss the impact 🫣

We saw the game out after that, a top dogged performance on a pretty poor boggy pitch. Everyone played their part, back line and midfield were immense 🧱

We now move on to the Surrey Cup where we look to write history again πŸ“–

Probably our best performance of the season that should have been topped off with more goals and a clean sheet, but 3 points are 3 points .

After a narrow defeat to Westside A last weekend (apologies no content on this), we needed a reaction and that’s exactly what we got!

First game of the season, First win of the season!

Elms off to a great start to their 2025/26 league campaign with a 2-1 win against Sporting Kitz.

The game got a little nasty towards the end and no one wants to see that in Saturday League Football but the Elms held strong to see out the victory.
