What a day for the Woolton Girls.

It was a Cosmos v Minis derby in our cup final at Jericho and what a game. Both sides brought the energy and with the big match ending 0-0 it was a win all round; and with a well deserved cup win for each team 🏆🏆 it was only right that we celebrated together!

We absolutely loved to see the Diamonds bring it home too on the next pitch! WELL DONE GIRLS 🏆

To Girls U11 League, thank you for a brilliant season… thanks to the referees for being so incredible, to the team at .l17 who keep us topped up with Rollovers & coffee and thank you to Derek Morgan, who has kept us all in check for the last 26 years and finally gets to have a lie in on a Saturday morning.

I’m no meteorologist but anyone who was at Jericho on Saturday can testify that it was at least a category 4 hurricane blowing in off the Mersey!

Brilliant game for the Cosmos and a well deserved visit from the Easter bunny as we sign off for spring break. We were so distracted by chocolate that we forgot to take a team photo… so here’s Cora & Emmy with their eggs instead 🫠
