Throwback to last week's sunshine ☀️
I didn't do any huge workouts while I was away, I simply tried to keep moving every couple of days.
Not for the calories.
Not for the fitness gains.
For the feeling.
Our nervous system doesn't automatically relax just because we've arrived somewhere sunny. After months of rushing around, it often takes time for our mind and body to catch up.
A short workout, a walk, a swim, a quiet moment.
Sometimes that's exactly what helps us switch off.
