Barking didn’t make it easy and with plenty of fresh legs on their bench they managed to get away in the second half.

Not the score line we were hoping for but the boys can hold their heads high.

Hard one on Sunday, lads.

We went into it already carrying knocks, then lost two more in the middle of the fight. At 5–1 down it would have been easy to let the game drift. Instead the boys rolled their sleeves up, pulled it back to 5–3 and were pushing hard for another right to the end. That takes character.

A few decisions didn’t fall our way and we finished with ten on the pitch, but the lads kept competing and showed grit. That matters.

Recover well, look after those injuries, and we go again Friday. Heads high. 🔵🟡
