Presentation by the Club President Mr Hugh Williams to the Winner today Mark Deeming of the Senior’s Presidents Rose bowl with 35pts, Runner up on count back Tom Steed also with 35 points, The game was followed by a superb lunch of Lamb Shank, Chocolate pudding ice cream and Cheese & biscuits.

The Clubhouse looking well with the outside changes and flowers looked after by Tom Quigley and Jonny Spain and member helpers.

Winners of today’s Seniors Shield 4ball better competition Grant Phillips & Kevin Williamson with a score of 43 pts.

2nd Anthony Weaver & Kevin Fagan on count back also with 43pts.

3rd Nick Rowe & Paul Evans with 41 pts.

Played in a temperature of 36 degrees C.

The game was followed by dinner and the presentation of the Shield by the Seniors Captain Martin Streader.

Thanks to the Green Keeper and member helpers the greens are in great condition considering the current heatwave.
Work during the run up to summer with installation water points to every green and tee position has helped with time required to keep the greens watered 7 days a week.

Foresome’s Cup played at Woodford Golf course today.
Photo’s taken of the course including the temporary 9th white tee whilst the 9th Tee is being rebuilt.

Woodford Golf Club presentation of the cheque for £20,000 to “Debra” raised by the 2025 Captain Vince Thompson’s Captain’s Charity and members.

The cheque was received by former Spurs and Liverpool footballer Graeme Souness and representatives of the “Debra” Charity. on the 8th December in the clubhouse.
