Our top team of Ben Khan and Ben Evans did the job for us today in the Winter Singles League. Both won their singles and then also to top off a great afternoon they also delivered in the doubles. Top work 'Team Ben'

So Alan Tyler's first 2 pair team score 0 out of 10 for photo taking, forgetting to take one. But we do score a 7-1 win vs Gerards Cross Bull Lane in the one score that really matters! Top play Richard Atkinson, Matt Hunt and Ben Andrews. Great win

In accordance with the recent government decree the club will be closed for four weeks as of 10.00 pm on Wednesday 3rd November.

As you are no doubt aware this decision is being challenged (see LTA statement below) and it is possible that it may be revised, in which event all members will be notified immediately.

UPDATE - LTA Statement (2 November)

The Government have today indicated that they won’t be allowing outdoor tennis courts to open in England during the period of the new national restrictions that come into force from Thursday. This is hugely disappointing for all those who love tennis up and down the country. We will continue to put our case to them ahead of the formal legislation detailing the restrictions during lockdown, which is yet to be published and is due to be voted on in Parliament on Wednesday. We will then provide an update on the definitive position of what is and isn’t allowed.
