⚽️ MATCH REPORT ⚽️

A really competitive performance from the team today, and one where we can take plenty of positives.

We went into half-time feeling confident that we could get something from the game. Emilia came close with an effort just wide, while Freddie’s free kick looked destined for the net before taking a deflection off a defender’s head.

We more than held our own and competed really well throughout. After their goal, we lost a little focus and momentum, which is something we’ll continue to work on - staying switched on, keeping our heads up and believing right until the final whistle.

There were plenty of good moments, and on another day one of those chances goes our way and it’s a very different story.

Match Report

Yesterday’s match against Pinfold Pumas had absolutely everything - 🧤 saves, 💪 defending, 👊 tackles, ⚔️ midfield battles, ⚽️ goals, 😬 goalmouth scrambles and, most importantly, effort and teamwork right until the final whistle!

When you think back to the pre-season game against Pinfold Pumas, the progress these kids have made in such a short space of time is fantastic. I couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them. ❤️

They competed for everything, never gave up and kept going right until the final whistle. Their keeper was outstanding, including saving a penalty. After Alfie scored, I genuinely thought we might grab another couple!

So many brilliant individual and team performances, with some fantastic saves, defending, tackles, midfield battles and, of course, goals!
