What a bank holiday weekend we had racing at Drax. We absolutely love the venue and were so glad to be back 💙
Karma took home 1st place 🥇 in LL Singles with a fastest time of 4.27. There’s so much more in the thank for this lad once he gains more racing experience.
Arlo took home 2nd place 🥈in his LL Singles division and earned himself a new shiny PB of 4.17!! This boy is only just getting started 🤩
Pepper had a PC slot and after an initial wobble, she regained her confidence and showed us she knew how to play Flyball again. Some more work to do at training and build her confidence on the box again and will see her progress to LL.
Saturday saw Brynn, Indie, Woody, Karma and Lillie hit the lanes in league. The plan was for Karma & Lillie to share a spot but after Lillie had a spanner brain blow, we pulled her meaning Karma had to step up and run all day in anchor. He had an amazing debut and the 4 dogs ran slick as butter once we got it together in the afternoon. We broke out just a few times and settled on an 18.16 with plenty room in starts. Can’t wait to see what these guys can do as they gel and I’m sure they’ll take us back into the 17’s ❤️
Finally, going NFC on Sunday so not placing was Arlo, Willow and Lillie who were joined by Bug from Sharks 🦈 Willow and Arlo made their league debuts ran faultless all day. They both showed us their potential and soon they will make their way into their respective teams 🤫 Willow settled with a fastest time of 4.30 on the clock and held all bar a few balls. She’s going to make a lovely, steady dog. Lillie made some great choices and ran past many loose balls which is huge for her and continued to gain ring experience. With some more work she’ll be on her way 💚
