Hayden competed at the Combined Cadet Force National Clay Pigeon Shooting competition.
He finished in the top 20 out of 120 competitors.
He was awarded Cadet High Gun, was a member of the top Sea Cadet team, and came second in the Flush Team competition‼️

Hayden has been with me from the start, focusing on a pre-shot routine that he carries into the stand when shooting. Using the correct methods and learning to read the targets has improved his shooting immensely!

In his lesson today, we focused on some s***t targets that had been letting him down, but with a bit of correction, it quickly became clear what he was doing wrong.

Well done, Hayden! If he keeps this up, he’s got a bright future ahead of him in the sport!

Gun Fit – The Foundation of Successful Clay Shooting

If your gun doesn’t fit you properly, you’re already at a disadvantage before you even call for the target. In clay shooting, gun fit is everything. It affects your mount, your vision, your swing, and ultimately—your ability to consistently hit targets.

At our facility, we take gun fitting seriously. We achieve a proper fit by checking how you shoot on targets that present virtually a straight line. Why? Because this allows us to clearly see how your gun is aligning with your eye and how consistently you’re able to point and break targets.

A fitted gun should feel like an extension of your body. No strain. No second guessing. Just smooth, confident shooting.

Whether you’re new to the sport or looking to improve your consistency, getting your gun fit checked could be a game-changer.

The pattern test shot below was for a cartridge test through an ATA 3/8 choke at 25 yards. Using Hull sporting 100’s.
Client walked away very happy and confident that his gun is now fitted and will shoot where he looks !
