💛 Welcome to Sober Strollers 💛
Sober Strollers is a friendly, local community for women in and around Wokingham who are sober, sober-curious, or simply rethinking their relationship with alcohol.
We meet for relaxed walks, fresh air, and real conversation.
No pressure. No labels. No judgement.
Just connection over perfection. 🌿
Whether you’ve quit drinking, you’re taking a break, or you’re just curious about life without alcohol - you are welcome here.
What This Is 🤍
• A peer-support community
• Women walking, chatting, connecting
• Encouragement, shared experience, and honest conversation
• A relaxed, friendly space to feel understood
What This Isn’t 🩺
• We are not therapists, coaches, or a treatment service
• We can’t give medical advice, diagnose, or treat addiction
• We are not a crisis service
This is a friendly peer support community, not professional or medical support.
If you’re in crisis or feeling unsafe, please seek professional help via your GP, NHS 111, Samaritans (116 123), or a trusted person in your life.
🌿 Walk Guidelines
• Everyone attends at their own risk - this is a casual, peer-led walk
• You’re responsible for your own safety, fitness, and wellbeing
• Organisers aren’t responsible for injuries, accidents, lost items, dogs, or weather
• Routes will be safe and public - please use your own judgement on the day
• Each walk post will include a time and a meeting place
This group is for adults. Please don’t bring children, as conversations may not be suitable for little ears.
For specific walks, we may ask that dogs aren’t brought along (for example, if we’re visiting a small café). If you have no alternative option, message an admin first and we’ll chat it through.
