We now have Sunday availability at Knaphill FC for the 2026/27 season, with two fully marked 5v5 grass pitches ready to go, complete with goals and nets.

The area can also be converted into a 9v9 pitch, making it ideal for local junior clubs looking for a reliable home venue for their fixtures.

Pitch hire:
• 5v5 pitch: £30 per match, per pitch
• 9v9 pitch: £60 per match

🔴⚪ FIRST TEAM LEAD COACH VACANCY

Knaphill FC are looking to appoint a First Team Lead Coach to join our senior management team.

Competing at Step 5 in the Combined Counties Premier Division South, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious coach who can enhance what we already have, bringing their own identity, ideas and coaching approach into the First Team environment.

Working alongside First Team Manager Mike Woolgar and Assistant Manager Daryl Cooper-Smith, the successful candidate will have significant ownership of the First Team coaching programme, with the freedom to shape how we train, develop and prepare.

The role will include:

⚽ Planning and leading First Team training
⚽ Technical and tactical development
⚽ Match preparation and coaching input
⚽ Player and unit development
⚽ Performance and opposition analysis
⚽ Helping drive standards across the First Team environment

We are particularly interested in coaches with strong experience within senior men’s non-league football, ideally at Step 5 or above, who understand the demands of the National League System.

This could be an excellent opportunity for an experienced First Team Coach or Assistant Manager looking for greater responsibility and the chance to take real ownership of a senior coaching programme.

We are not simply looking to fill a vacancy.

We want someone who can complement the existing management team, challenge our thinking, bring their own identity and help take the environment forward.

Knaphill FC can confirm that Josh Gallagher will be leaving the club after being offered the opportunity to return to management.

When Josh joined us this summer, we always knew that someone with his experience and track record would attract interest when the right managerial opportunity came along.

Although his time at Knaphill has been short, Josh has made a real contribution to the First Team setup and has been a valued part of the management team and the club.

We completely understand his decision to step back up into a manager’s role and would like to thank him for everything he has brought to the club during his time with us.

We wish Josh every success in the next chapter of his managerial career.
