This is to get you thinking about what it is you REALLY want
Ask yourself - why do I care about what the scales say…
Because in my eyes, the scales are just one way of convincing ourselves we’re making progress
Because if the numbers are going down, then what we’re doing is working, right?
But actually that number can fluctuate daily, and is not a direct representation of how much fat you’re losing or gaining
A lot of people have this idea that “I’ll be happy when I lose another stone” or “I want to be 10 stone”
But why? Why that specific weight?
What if you changed your body shape/size/composition to how you want it to look, but you actually didn’t lose that stone?
Because what actually happened is you put on some muscle, whilst losing some fat
Your desired body is most probably heavier than you think it is
And I promise, if you like the way your body looks, moves, and feels, you won’t give even the slightest of f**ks about what you weigh
Stop obsessing over the scales ✋🏽
They shouldn’t define how you feel about your body!
