So so true. Its not just about lifting weights.
Nutrition, rest, recovery and consistency is vital too.
Muscles get sore and tight. Massage can really speed up your healing and recovery. Trust me it's a firm fixture in my routine and should be in yours too.

Massage before and/or after fitness has so many benefits.

Pre fitness benefits include suppleness, reduced risk of injury, muscle warm up, improve flexibility and mental preparedness.

Post fitness benefits include the reduction of DOMS (delayed onset of muscle soreness) aid recovery time, reduce inflammation and fatigue.

These are just a few reasons why massage should be part of your fitness routine, whether you run for fun or train for specific events.

End of the week = mobility and flexibility.  Both are vital to an efficient body. Its not just about cardio and weights....

2019 😟 I started working the day after I qualified. Prepared but absolutely terrified haha.
I had a lovely little salon in Torquay until we moved to my husbands home county, my new home.
Starting again comes with challenges, but worth every single new grey hair I find (daily).

I've loved meeting new clients, laughing with them through good times and being a shoulder through the tough.

Being a therapist (to me) is more than being a therapist, it's being what my client needs at that moment.

Always look at things positively.
