πŸ’™ Men’s Mental Health Month πŸ’™

Too many men struggle in silence, feeling like they have to carry the weight of their challenges alone. This month, we’re reminding every man that reaching out for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Looking after your mental wellbeing doesn’t have to be complicated. Simple effective steps such as staying active, talking to someone you trust, getting outdoors, connecting with others, and making time for yourself can have a huge impact on how you feel.

At Active Wirral we are here to help. We offer a range of free and accessible opportunities to support your wellbeing, including:

βœ… Free community exercise sessions through Active You - https://activewirral.com/activeyou/

βœ… Wellbeing walks to get moving and connect with others

βœ… Gym-based exercise sessions ( FREE if you are a leisure gym member)

βœ… Opportunities to build friendships and strengthen community connections

Being part of a supportive community can make all the difference. Regular physical activity, meaningful relationships, and social connections are powerful tools for improving both physical and mental health.

If you’re struggling, please don’t do it alone. Reach out, start a conversation, join a session, or simply take that first step towards support. We’re always here to help.

Are you a carer looking to take some time for yourself, focus on your own health and wellbeing to make sure you can continue to support your loved ones?

The saying goes β€œ you can’t pour from an empty cup β€œ come and join us and we will support you. We have an exercise session that lasts around 45 minutes and then an hour for a cup of tea or coffee for you to socialise with likeminded people πŸ’œ

If this sounds like something you are interested in, please drop us a message or share to anyone you know.

You do not need to provide any proof of receiving carers allowance ect, you may not even recognise yourself as a carer because you support a loved one.

We look forward to meeting you and please share 🩷
