Good morning everyone since putting a message out on Friday we have had a number of people interested. Scott is currently in a cast and won’t be able to do any sessions untill he medically fit to do so taking the sessions will be Paul Davies who a lot of people who have been to sessions will know. He’s a UEFA B licensed goalkeeping coach and is Tranmere’s youth team coach. The availability for now is very limited so it will be on a first come first serve basis all availability will go up this evening 🥅⚽️

Good evening all, as of tomorrow Scott Davies Goalkeeping Academy will be taking bookings with a start date of Monday 5th October. This has been a difficult time for everyone however we are delighted to be back with all social distancing measures in place following the government guidelines. Everyone who had two sessions previously booked before lockdown will recieve their sessions, in groups of 6. We will provide a date in due course which will be age specific. Scott is committed to developing goalkeepers on the Wirral therefore will attend selected group sessions and is available for limited 1-2-1 sessions. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you all soon.

Tonight we will be getting in contact with everyone who’s sent us messsges to rearrange all sessions and getting group sessions back up and running.

Sessions will start again from Monday the 5th of October.

Hi guys. Hope your all well, many people asking the same questions so here’s a little update. Government rules are starting to change with regards to small group training. Right now we are in the process of working out how and if it’s possible for us to return with all the correct guidance for peoples health and safety in place. Once we have answers to these questions you’ll all be the 1st to know.

Please see update


Dear Parents,

Following on from last weeks announcements from the EFL we have made the decision for the academy to mirror that and shut down activities until at least ‪April 4th. ‬

Our priority at the academy is the safety of our players and staff and we feel this is a necessary action to take.

Also, if any players do show any symptoms of the COVID 19 then please follow government advice in the isolation and treatment. We would also insist that you inform us so that we can make people aware who may have come into contact with that player.

I hope you understand our decision and we are all hoping that things return to normal ASAP.

We are obviously aware people have paid for block bookings and we will be fulfilling all of them as soon as it is safe to do so. If this doesn’t suit everybody then refund for the remaining sessions can be arranged.

Finally, make sure you all look after yourselves and your families and hopefully we will see you all in a couple of weeks.

SD1 Academy is delighted to announce that we have teamed up with the Girls Can Play Academy based on the Wirral.
Womens football is growing all the time and finally getting the exposure it deserves. We now have a fantastic opportunity for the girls to receive the same fantastic knowledge, expertise and coaching that SD1 is able to provide.
