Hi. The remaining re-enrolment forms, newsletters and Championship attendance certificates have been sent out or been hand-delivered. I still need to check any newcomers who weren't on the database yet but don't have addresses for all of them, so please bear with me.

Re-enrolment form explanation:
It has been pointed out that, although the British Gymnastics fees were included in the total to pay on the re-enrolment sheets, it was not made obvious in the rest of the text. Sorry! Oh, and when I say, "Not made obvious" I really mean not mentioned at all. Sorry again. The BG fees for the year October 2016 - September 2017 are £17 for gymnasts aged 5 or more on September 1st 2017, and £11 for younger gymnasts.

CONGRATULATIONS to all gymnasts who received a medal at yesterday's Air Active Gymnastics 2016 Club Championships! And that means every single one of you as you ALL won at least one medal. Well done.
What a super morning of entertainment. How lovely for the parents and siblings to be able to see how well their gymnasts performed!
My grateful thanks to all who helped out and helped the day go so smoothly.
Special thanks to the coaching team. Glenn, Lauren, Luke, Lily, Will, Lyall, Francesca, Kerri and Logan all put their everything into the event If I missed anyone, I'm sorry!
Finally, thanks to Matt for opening up and closing the building. Without him, there would have been no championships.
I hope you all enjoyed it! Please take the time to post a one word message to say what you thought of it all. OK, you can have more than one word if you really want to!

Are you ready for the Club Championships on Saturday? Gymnasts need to be there at 9:15 to register. Any volunteers to help set-up will be welcomed with open arms! We've been promised some cakes and raffle prizes - any extra ones will be gratefully received.

Congratulations to all gymnasts who took part in yesterday's great display. You all did so well. I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope that you and the onlookers enjoyed it, too. Special thanks to Lauren and Kerri for their organisational abilities. Thanks also to Luke and everyone else who helped us set up and to Steve for being our photographer.
You all made me so proud of Air Active Gymnastics! Thank you!

WEDNESDAY GYMNASTS. I found out on Wednesday that the hall is not available next week, 13th July, so we will not be able to run the sessions on that day. Many apologies! If the gymnasts affected would like to come along on Friday 15th at their normal time, please come. If that is too inconvenient, please let me know and I'll refund the session fee.
I am very, very sorry for the inconvenience and the late notice.

Another plea for help - with setting up for the display this time. If there are any parents or strong gymnasts who would be able to help move the equipment from the storage sheds to the school playing field, please let us know! And back again after the display, please!

I can now confirm the date of the 2nd Annual Club Championships:

SATURDAY 16TH JULY 2016

We hope as many gymnasts as possible will want to enter the competition. It will be held in the hall of Winslow Combined School, where the weekly gym sessions take place. We are planning the day's events to start at 9am with setting up the hall, competition from 10am until about 12noon, then a quick comfort break before presenting the medals and certificates. We have the hall booked until 1pm but are allowed to stretch that to 2pm if needed.

Having organised the gym competition for Saturday 25th June, we are unfortunately unable to hire the school hall on that day. It was all set up, but the school contacted me today to say that things had changed. What a disappointment, though it is not the fault of the school or the gym club; just unfortunate circumstances.
We are discussing what to do but the end of term is fast approaching........
Sorry to disappoint everyone but we will do our best to hold the competition as soon as possible. Watch this space!
