Olive McGloin walked the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada, AND BACK to Mexico again! - with her pacerpoles. She's the first woman to complete this - so quite special:

Pacerpoles have made a TV appearance on BBC Scotland's 'Adventure Show' being used by James Lamb, a Mountain Guide who has been using pacerpoles for years now. He was in Nepal when the avalanche happened and has been helping the community work together ever since. They have set up a charity trekking agency (http://www.tengbochetrekking.com/index.html) for the mountain guides ensuring they have a fair wage and insurance.
