A lovely day on the coast against Mudeford CC for our pre-season friendly.

We got up to 190 thanks to a fifty from midweek star Jim Allaway and 36 from new captain Ellis Day.

We then kept Mudeford 26 run short thanks to 4 wickets from George Taylor and 3 from Ollie Pannell.

Looking forward to the season that kicks off next Saturday v Compton House.

Less than 2 weeks until our youth cricket sessions kick off for 2026!

Open to all children aged 5-13 (split into age groups on the day) to give cricket a try or develop their current skills under guidance from ECB accredited coaching.

Thursday evenings 4:30-6:30pm from Thursday 30th April 2026.

No cost to come along thanks to funding from Colehill Town Council.

Excited to be part of this initiative!

Colehill Town Council are proud to support Colehill Cricket Club and Colehill Sports & Social Club who are launching a new free junior cricket initiative for local children.
Open to ages 5–11 and 11–13, the community programme will begin at 4:30pm on Thursday 30 April 2026 at the CSSC clubhouse, Colehill. Sessions will continue every Thursday from 4:30pm to 6:30pm throughout the 2026 cricket season.
Led by an ECB-accredited coach and supported by local players, the initiative offers young people the opportunity to try cricket in a fun and welcoming environment. No experience or equipment is needed, and all kit will be provided. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend and refreshments will be available.
Parents and carers interested in supporting the coaching sessions are also invited to get involved with support provided by the Cricket Club.

Colehill CC are looking for a cricket coach to develop and lead our youth cricket program for 2026.

If you have experience coaching cricket, the ability to mentor and motivate young players of all abilities as well as the communication and leadership skills to run a coaching programme, please get in touch via social media or [email protected].
