The London Ballet Company, established in 2010 by Director/Dancer Sophie Wright, is a vibrant, creative company whose mission is to personalise ballet performance through original works, with a focus on current events and trends of topical interest. Their storytelling style has met with considerable success in productions such as "Jubilation" - to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee, "Olympic Dream",

a homage to the Olympic games, "00 And His 7" - a tongue in cheek adventure into the exciting world of espionage, "Eve" - a celebration of women in society to mark International Women's Day, "Postcard From London" - a tourist's eye view, "Ghost" - a frisson of fear in this exploration of loneliness, "For a Lost Son" - a mother's evocative memories, "The Snow Queen" - a twist to the fairytale to reflect upon sorrow and love, and "Poppy" - commissioned to commemorate World War 1, and to highlight the devastation of war wrought upon society. Join our Summer Dance Intensive for ages 6–18, where young dancers can build confidence, develop technique, and make new friends in a supportive and professional environment.

Each day includes classes in:

To my wonderful professional dancers this season; You have made it such a joy to tour with you all. I am beyond proud of the transformation you made in the 5 weeks that we had together this Spring. I hope that you keep hold of these wonderful enhancements to your dancing careers and show everyone how beautiful you are inside and out.
It was an absolute pleasure to have you be a part of the TLBC Team. For most of you, it’s not the first time, but every time we work together, it is an uplifting and joyful experience which I think we all felt. Beautiful souls are the most valuable and important asset in this magnificent career that we share, and this shines through, in each and every one of you; so…thank you from the bottom of my heart 💕
(And thank you for my beautiful gifts!)

Now it’s on to the next exciting season with plenty of planning going on behind the scenes already 🤗

Our Summer Intensive for dancers 6-18, offers an exciting and supportive environment to develop technique, creativity, and confidence. Each day includes classes in ballet, contemporary, creative movement, repertoire, and body conditioning, giving students a well-rounded and inspiring experience. The programme culminates in a special final day where dancers showcase their progress in a short demonstration for parents, followed by a celebratory awards ceremony to recognise their hard work and achievements.
The intensive is taught by current professionals of The London Ballet Company!
