King's Swords Fencing Club meets on Saturday mornings from 10.00 am though to 1pm throughout the school term. The club is affiliated to British Fencing (BF) and we require all our fencers to become individual members of BF once they have passed beginner status. We teach two weapons - epee and foil. Our instructors are all qualified and have current safeguarding (DBS) and are very experienced in te

aching children. They are:

Epee: Kate Smith, Level 3, BF. Foil: Brian Riseley, Level 2, BF. We supply all of the necessary fencing kit for beginners. All that is required is a t-shirt, track-bottoms with zipped pockets and indoor trainers. All fencers in the advanced groups are required to wear fencing breeches and long socks. Whilst the club can supply some pairs of breeches, we would recommend that all those who fence regularly should buy their own pair. We also recommend that fencers have a drink (in a non-spill sports bottle) with them
