Impeccably respected by both teams who did their clubs proud. The match might have ended in a loss for the Hawks but some of the football they played on a difficult pitch was great to see. The effort they put in was top-notch and the fact that they were still smiling at the end shows the great camaraderie these boys have.

Into the cup next week and a chance to keep the performance level high and hopefully get the result that the boys' graft deserves.

Tough, physical game this week vs Beacons with a performance that was polar opposite from last week but in so many good ways. Boys really had to earn it this weekend and we couldn't be prouder of the way they kept their calm, battled hard and showed amazing bottle and resilience. 2 great goals from Frank and a goal for the 2nd week running for Harley helped the team to a 3-3 draw. Player of the match went to Hadyn who was exceptional at both ends of the pitch and got an important assist too. Thank you to Beacons for their hospitality and good luck for the season.

What a way to open the season!! A great game against good opposition and a game played in the right spirit. So pleased for all the boys and especially our debutants Harley, Josh and Dylan who dropped into the team seamlessly.

Good luck to Teviot and we look forward to seeing you later on in the season.

Weeeeeeerrrreeeeee BACK!!!!!! Welcome to the 25/26 SelKent season and the Hawks are back and ready for a 10th(!!!) season. Yes you really have had to put up with us for that long!!

We start against Teviot Rangers who have come up from the league below and will give our new look squad a real good test in the first league game of the season. Cant wait to see the new lads in action!! Let's back the boys and hope we can get off to a flier!! COYH 🟡⚫️

So we're back for the 25/26 season and it's our first friendly. The Hawks are up against Junior Reds in a good challenge to get up and running. A few new faces and a chance to get some minutes under our belts, we can't wait!! ⚫️🟡

2nd game of the SelKent shield for the Hawks and they turned in a really professional performance whilst playing some nice football. They had a point to prove after a recent defeat to Bosco in a friendly and they stepped up with aplomb.

A stunning free kick from Max sealed all 3 points, but the team had plenty of chances whilst working hard for each other, keeping Bosco at arms length.

It's been a great start to the shield with 2 wins from 2 but we know there is a long way to go yet and won't get ahead of ourselves.

Player of the match went to Riley who was brilliant in the centre of the pitch, breaking up play and starting attack after attack.

Good luck to Bosco for the rest of the season who were a tough opponent!!

We get a week off now for Mothers Day and will be back on the 6th April.

After a break we are are back. The boys have been in plenty of action over Feb and March as the league drew to a conclusion with some strong performances and a couple of great results against some tough opposition. The Hawks are now gearing up for the end of season Selkent Shield and are hopeful of putting a good run together. COYH ⚫️🟡🦅

Opportunity to test your knowledge and help raise some funds for the club. Join in and see if you can be the last person standing 💪

**LAST MAN STANDING COMPETITION**

The club has a last person standing competition to help raise much needed funds to go towards the potential new astro.

Entrants get to pick a game each week where they think both teams will score. If they guess right, they move on to the next week. You get an extra life too, so it’s not just one shot, and you’re out. Once you’ve got 2 wrong though, then you’re out, and the last person left in the game wins the pot.

It’s £10 per entry with 50% going to the club and the other 50% going into the winners’ pot.

It’s a great game and can be shared with your team, family, friends, work and anyone else who wants to enter. All you need is an email address to enter.
