If you’re slicing, your swing path is the problem. This simple 2-ball drill trains an in-to-out path without you having to think about it.

Most slicers swing across the ball from out to in. That puts left-to-right spin on it and the ball curves away from you every time.

This drill removes the guesswork.

✅ Place one ball diagonally outside the line, just before your ball
✅ Place the second ball diagonally inside the line, just after your ball
✅ Swing to miss both, and your path becomes in-to-out automatically

The balls act as physical guides. Your body learns the correct shape without overcomplicating it.

A simple takeaway drill I use with a lot of players.

Remove the trail hand and use it to fold the lead arm like you’re shaking someone’s hand.

This helps create the correct forearm rotation and elbow movement for a more connected backswing.

Simple feel. Big difference.

Seeing your golf swing on camera is a humbling experience 😅

Comment PURE and I’ll send you what your practice swing should actually be doing 👇

Most golfers treat the practice swing as a warm-up. Pros treat it as their last rehearsal before pulling the trigger.

There’s a reason the best players in the world are deliberate with every practice swing they take.

They’re not just loosening up. They’re rehearsing the exact feel or movement they want to carry into the shot.

✅ Identify the feel or fault you’re working on
✅ Use the practice swing to exaggerate that move
✅ Step in and commit with that sensation fresh in your body

Fail to prepare, prepare to fail. That applies to every single shot you hit.

Give your swing a chance before it even starts.

📌 Save this as a reminder before your next round

If you only practice the same shot repeatedly, you’re training range golf — not course golf.

Make practice random and realistic.

Struggling to maintain balance during your swing?

You might be setting up with too much tension or in an awkward position.

This often happens when the hips and ankles aren’t aligned, causing imbalance and improper movement.

✅ Ensure your hips and ankles are aligned.
✅ Tilt gently forward from the waist to let your arms hang naturally.

Feel the difference as you move smoothly through your swing with ease and control.

Hitting heavy shots can be frustrating and misleading.

You might think moving the ball back in your stance is the answer.

This often happens because it prevents proper weight transfer through impact, worsening your original problem.

✅ Move the ball slightly forward in your stance.
✅ Focus on shifting your weight through the shot.

Feel the difference as you strike the ball with more consistency and confidence.

Struggling with an over-the-top move in your swing?

You might be pulling down on the grip too aggressively with your trail side.

This often happens when trying to force power, leading to a steep swing path and inconsistency.

✅ Release the trail hand at the top of your swing.
✅ Feel the club’s weight naturally fall against your palm.

Experience a smoother transition and let momentum do the work for you.

Ever wonder why pros generate that smooth, powerful swoosh?

Many club players tense up at the top of their swing, losing speed and fluidity.

This tension often stems from trying to control the club too much during transition, which stifles natural release.

✅ Finish your backswing.
✅ Release your trail hand grip slightly to feel the club’s weight.

Feel the effortless power as the clubhead naturally accelerates through impact.

Struggling with a stiff backswing?

Your trail arm might be too far forward and high at address, killing your backswing.

This setup makes it tough for your trail arm to fold correctly during the backswing.

✅ Sit the trail arm closer to your body.
✅ Ensure the inside of your elbow faces forward.

Feel the difference in your backswing fluidity and control!
