English and Maths don’t have to be taught as isolated subjects.
Where appropriate, we integrate them naturally into the learner’s chosen pathway — whether that’s aviation, technology, digital skills, projects or practical challenges.
For example, Maths might be developed through flight planning, measurement, budgeting or data. English could be developed through communication, research, presentations and project work.
The aim is to help young people understand why their learning matters, while building confidence and recognising their progress.
