A huge well done to Meredith on being named Player of the Match!
She gave an absolutely outstanding performance from start to finish, showing real determination, confidence, and skill on the pitch. Her hard work, commitment, and positive attitude truly stood out and made a big difference to the team today.

Today our girls put on a fantastic performance all round. They played with great energy, teamwork, and resilience, supporting one another every step of the way and never giving up. The progress they are making is incredible to see, and they should all be extremely proud of themselves. What a brilliant match to watch🚀🍒

We're excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join the Cherrybrook Rockets team. We are currently seeking a dedicated goalkeeper in Year 4 to become part of our growing squad.

This is a great chance to develop skills, gain confidence, and contribute to a strong, supportive team environment as we continue to build for the season ahead.

Training takes place Fridays from 5:30-6:30pm at Laithwaite, with matches on Saturdays.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Sure Safe for their incredibly generous donation of brand-new footballs to Cherrybrook Rockets.

We are truly grateful for your support, which makes such a positive difference to our team. These new footballs will allow our girls to continue developing their skills, confidence, and love for the game during training and matches.

The girls had an absolute blast at Christmas training tonight! Stu had them sprinting to whatever colour cone he shouted… only to discover chocolate coins hiding underneath. Safe to say, by the end of it the girls were more chocolate than footballer 🍫

Then it was game time — with siblings and coaches joining in. At one point Stu and Nicol ended up in a one-on-one and I genuinely thought Stu was about to end up flat on his arse 🤣 pure entertainment!

To top off an already brilliant night, Santa made an early appearance and every girl received a gift from Nicol and Stu. Such a lovely touch and so well deserved.

Thank you both so much for all the time, effort and patience you’ve put into helping these girls grow, improve and truly become a team this year. We really do appreciate everything you do ❤️

And the fun doesn’t stop there… tomorrow we head into our first ever tournament at William Fosters! The girls are buzzing and so excited for this new experience. And we’re off to The Poacher Winstanley for some lovely food afterwards!

What a day for our Cherrybrook Rockets — their FIRST EVER WIN! 🚀⚽️
The girls have been working their socks off in training, and today all that effort finally shone through. For a brand-new team in their very first season together, this is an incredible achievement and we couldn’t be prouder!

A huge thank you to all our amazing parents for giving up your weekends and cheering the girls on, even when the results weren’t going our way. We told you the moment was coming — and today they did it! 🙌

Massive appreciation to Stuart and Nicol for your endless dedication. Your time, energy, and belief in the girls mean more than you know, and none of this progress happens without you.
