One car that seems to have vanished in recent times but used to be everywhere, is the old Ford Mondeo. They were never the best car ever made, but they were very good cars. They were cheap, reliable, dependable, decent handling cars and the high end models were well equipped. The oldest mk1's are now 33 years old, but seeing them at shows is a very rare sight. Why is that? I've had five of them in the past, three mk2's and two mk3's. My favourite mk2 'Monty' (the kids named it) had tons of mods done to it and used to get loads of comments for how clean it looked. Sadly it was rotten underneath, worse than I realised, and I think this is what killed most of them off. What do you think, are they potentially the next upcoming classic Ford? - Gavlaa

Spotted this classic Mustang GT350 today at Arley Hall, and the eagle eyed among you will spot the letter 'H' after the GT350 on the front wings. The H stands for Hertz car rental. In 1966 Hertz bought roughly 1000 Mustang GT350's from Ford, so customers could hire an genuine GT350 and boost rental sales. So now you know if you ever see one. I think the reg dates this one at 1964 so I think its a replica build. Genuine H cars can be worth £200k or more. Either way this is still a seriously nice Mustang and a credit to it's owner. - Gavlaa

My wife and I decided a bit last minute to head over to Arley Hall to check out the car show. I suspect rain may have put a lot of people off from going, but it brightened up nicely this afternoon and there were still loads of really nice motors on show. We even spotted Ric Wood walking his dog - Gavlaa
