💛PROUD JUDES GOLDS MOMENT! 💛

Yesterday, Owen and Reece had the opportunity to represent Wigan Warriors and St Judes Golds as they took part in the Wigan Warriors v Wakefield LDP 14+ games, played right here at the Judes pitches! 🏉

Their team came away with a great win, with Reece getting himself on the scoresheet with a try! 💪🏼🔥

Both lads put in an outstanding effort, taking on players older than them and, in some cases, nearly twice their size! 😮‍💨💥 They certainly weren’t afraid to put their bodies on the line and show what they’re made of.

We’re incredibly proud to see our Golds lads stepping up, challenging themselves and representing the club with pride. ❤️

Well done Owen and Reece — keep working hard and keep pushing yourselves! 👏🏼

Wigan St Judes Golds 🏉🟡

Today our Golds hosted a friendly against Crosfields Vipers.

We knew it was going to be a tough one, with Crosfields playing in the league above us, but that was exactly the challenge we wanted for the lads as we prepare for the second half of the season.

The first half was outstanding! 🔥 The boys came out firing, and some of the tackles were absolutely huge — could have stopped a bus! 🚌💥

It was the best defensive effort we’ve seen from the lads for a long time. The commitment, aggression and teamwork were brilliant, and there was so much to be proud of.

Unfortunately, the second half proved much tougher. With limited substitutes, exhaustion started to set in, and ultimately the strength and size of the large Crosfields squad became too much for us, resulting in a loss.

But there are lots of positives to take from today. 💪🏼

Rest, recuperate and then we go again in two weeks as we kick off the second half of our season. 🏉🔥

👏 Opposition Player of the Match: Andrew — well deserved!

🏆 Parents’ Player of the Match: The parents couldn’t pick just one today, so the award went to the whole team for their fantastic first-half contribution. 💛

A huge thank you to Crosfields Vipers for travelling down and making it a great challenge for our lads. Good luck for the rest of your season! 👏🏼

🌧️💪 Back at it! 💪🌧️

The boys were at it again tonight, working hard in training despite the rain! ☔️🏉 All the hard work is getting them ready for our friendly against Crosfields this Sunday. 🔥

A special shoutout to Simon for stepping in as tonight’s cameraman because our usual camera person was missing in action! 😂📸

Although, judging by the footage, Simon was filming from approximately three miles away on a camera that appears to have been dipped in Vaseline! 🤣📹😂

Still, we appreciate the effort, Simon! 👏

💥🎯GOLDS TEAM BONDING DAY!🎯💥

The Wigan St Judes Golds swapped the rugby ball for paintball guns today as the lads headed to Delta Force Paintball Manchester for a day of team bonding! 🔫😂

There were plenty of battles, plenty of laughs and an impressive number of paintballs dropped on the floor rather than fired at the opposition! 🤣💥

And of course, there had to be some controversy… 👀

Ian and Isiah were caught cheating in a bank!😂😂 We’ll let them explain themselves… although we’re not sure the evidence is going to go in their favour! 🤣

A brilliant day of fun, teamwork, friendly competition and a few questionable tactics! 💛

Days like this are what make a team — great lads, great memories and plenty of laughs along the way!🏉❤️
