In this month’s session we began by exploring personal space and how our comfort zone differs depending on how you’re approached (from the front, the side and behind).
We worked in partners on escape options for a rear bear hug and rear neck hold, then got the kick shields out and trained knee strikes, elbow strikes, palm heal and hammer fist strikes, and as always we finished the session with a short but fast paced reaction drill with focus pads.
