Club Contribution Awards
Tommy Davies
Our very own Tommy Davies picked up the Club Contribution of the Year award, capping off a remarkable twelve months.
Tommy has been with Whiteley Wanderers since his days in the Acorns, growing up with the club before celebrating his 18th birthday earlier this year. His impact this season has extended far beyond the pitch, having tackled the London Marathon, raising vital funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
He finished his youth career in the best possible way, lifting the trophy after the U18 Lightnings' cup final victory in their last ever game. Tommy represents the very best of our club and this award is thoroughly deserved.
Men’s Coaching Team
Our Men’s Coaching Staff, led by Karlos, Charlie, Phil, Riley and James Rudge, have truly set the standard of what it means to play for this club. Taking ownership of the Men’s Team just one week before the season started, they have all acted with immense integrity, energy, and commitment. In a remarkably short space of time, they have unified the squad, established a clear identity on the pitch, and built a culture that will drive this team forward.
Women’s & Wildcats Coaching Team
Greg Hasluck & James White picked up the Club Contribution Award, who have been instrumental in creating an environment for our youngest girls to find a home playing football.
They have also bookended their efforts with starting the first ever Whiteley Wanderers Women’s Team, something the club have been working towards for a while.
Excellent effort and very much looking forward to seeing both age groups push on with their football journey.
