Hollies Lawn Tennis Club Hollies Lawn Tennis Club in Whitchurch, North Shropshire is a long-established and thriving club which caters for players of all ages and abilities.

There are three outdoor floodlit courts - two acrylic and one macadam, a practice wall and a comfortable clubhouse with changing rooms and catering facilities. Competitive and social tennis takes place all year round, day and evening, and includes club sessions with monthly and annual tournaments and mens, ladies and mixed teams entered into both Shropshire and Cheshire leagues. Coaching for junio

r and senior players is also available throughout the year. There are many friendly faces at the Club who would be pleased to welcome new members so why not come down and see us? WOW! 24 hours complete!

What can we say.. the support was incredible! So many thanks to pass on for everyone involved!

From all the people that came and cheered us off at 9am on Saturday, to all the players that filled the courts through the night and kept us playing!

So much fun, so many memories and of course all importantly so much generosity!

Not to mention the 50+ wonderful people who came down to register themselves on the stem cell register for DKMS. A huge thank you to everyone.

We still have the final sums to tally up over the next few days but we are already over £15,000 raised for Cancer Research UK & DKMS.

💙💗 4 DAYS TO GO! 💗💙

In just four days, the Hollies 24 Hour Tennisathon gets underway!

📅 Saturday 20th June, 9am – Sunday 21st June, 9am

For 24 hours, our amazing community will come together to play tennis, raise funds and support two causes that mean so much to us – Cancer Research UK and DKMS.

💙 WE PLAY FOR STEPHEN 💙

In July 2015, Stephen was sadly diagnosed with Stage 4 terminal bowel cancer. While undergoing treatment in 2016, he bravely took part in our original 24 Hour Tennisathon, helping inspire a community effort that raised over £13,000.

In his memory, we proudly support Cancer Research UK, funding life-saving research, improving treatments and giving hope to people facing cancer today and in the future.

💗 WE PLAY FOR PAULA 💗

Paula is a much-loved member of our club who is currently undergoing treatment and searching for a stem cell donor match.

This is why we are supporting DKMS, helping to raise awareness of joining the stem cell register and giving hope to patients and families affected by blood cancer.

🩷 We will also be carrying out a DKMS donor drive during the event, so please come along, give a swab and potentially help save a life.
