The Blues had our winter league tournament final on Saturday, which ended up an all Fellside derby against our u9 Yellow team.

To say the boys played fantastic is an understatement! After a hard few weeks with below our usual standards, the lads came out the blocks with something to prove. The passing, movement, communication, everything was first class! It was a coaches dream to be able to sit back and see the lads take control of the game and do everything we work on in training. A massive thank you from us both!

In the end the Blues were able to bring home the trophy, which they fully deserved. Big shout out to our Yellow team mates who never gave up and played some great football also.

Also thank you Northeast Junior Football League for putting on a well run tournament.

The Blues got our winter NEJL tournament underway last Saturday after having no games since mid December.

The cold conditions and early start didnt benefit us this week, which took the lads a while to get into the swing of things. A hard match to start with against one of the tops sides in the league, caught the boys off guard, but they never gave up which was great to see.

Our second match, again took us a while to get going and we should have came away with victory but the opposition keeper had a brilliant game pulling off some fantastic saves.

Finally the boys went into the last game with something to prove, and came away with a well earned victory.

We go again next Saturday in the next round of fixtures, this time abit later in the day which will only benefit us.

Sharing if anyone is looking for a football camp over the next school half term holidays. Ellis does his 1:1 training with JJ and has done quite a few of these camps in the past. JJ and his coaches are great with the kids.

Brilliant game by the boys today in our last game before the league winter break. Every single one of them smashed it and the football played was fantastic from start to finish.

A few weeks off now to enjoy Christmas and New Year, before we get back to training and start the NEJL winter tournament.

The boys continued their run of good performances with another great display yesterday.

We were missing a couple of lads this week, which meant some of the boys playing in different positions. This didnt stop them and they played some great football.

Special mention to Oliver for stepping up to play in goal, pulling off some great saves.

Great game today by the boys, fully deserved the result.

We've been working on our finishing for the last couple of weeks and it was great to see the boys applying what we've worked on in training during the match. Third win in a row for the boys, let's keep it going.

Fantastic result for the boys today, coming away with the first win of the season.

Our aim for today's match was for them to simply have fun and enjoy themselves. Fair to say they did just that, with the football played being fantastic and the smiles on their faces throughout was great to see.

Each lad played their part in today's win we couldn't have been prouder.

The boys did fantastic at training tonight, with some brilliant listening and concentration throughout.

Finishing infront of goal was the main focus for the majority of the drills, with some brilliant goals being scored. The lads ended the session with a ball possession match with some great passing/movement/communication on show.

Well done to Noah who was chosen as this week's trainer of the week and will captain the side this Saturday.
