Vixens Match Report:
Leicestershire Women & Girls League Yellow Division.
Away Rugby Borough Junglecats U10 04/02/24.
Late afternoon kick off, & the anticipation building up all day! the girls got things underway on a very heavy muddy pitch π« absolute credit to the Vixens who played their football regardless of the conditions..
The midfield battle was unreal! Rugby sat with 3 at the back, giving the dynamic duo of Pops & Bella work to weave & craft Whetstone forward β¨
Orla & Jess drove superbly down the flanks, constantly pressing the opposition forcing errors throughout the match.
Deanna 𧀠made some fantastic saves, with Talullah marshalling the back πͺπ»
Sienna played an unfamiliar position up top, & did really well, holding up the ball to bring her team mates back into play ππ»
The wind was picking up as the pitch started to really cut up, but the girls continued spray the ball around π₯
Amelia-Rose then came on to try add some spice up front, & definitely was improving her link up play as ST.. very unlucky with a few chances today, best controlling an awkward ball down.. but found her feet plugged in the mud to tuck away a chance.. ππ»
Great team work, & so much energy to see out the game. The girls in yellow looked so confident, & their communication was very good today π
Shoutouts, Jessicaβs first half was outstanding! So positive on the ball, & her decision making was on point! Awesome goal Jess!π₯
The result today, was built off the teams work together π«Άπ» they all played for each other & worked their socks off.

Coaches POTM Poppie, box to box.. tackling, through balls.. footwork driving with ease past the opposition! & very unlucky not to grab a goal or 2 today. Absolutely led the team with the C band π₯
