Quick catch up:

29/4/22

Fished riddings for the commercial cup to cut the long story short fished pellet wag all match with a 6mm pellet on the band for a slow day and last 10 mins potted fishery micros mixed with mbd chocolate orange ground bait and managed to hook 3 bonus fish in 10 mins. Finished the match on a lake win with 78lb but unfortunately no big money prize on the other hand had a section win well done all winners.

Fished sheerwood pairs match I was put on holmedale and Josh Brandrick was on sheerwood, I tried everything and had to kee alternating as the fish didn’t seem to be taking the bait properly, fished my 13m line with fishery 6mm going over with a 6 on the hook and my edges managed to snare a few more itch a big worm over the top of fishery micros and chocolate orange ground ( I must say both baits conbined they ain’t going to be many fish that isn’t going to be lured in quality binder if your pellets aren’t sticking) all in all me and my brother both came 2nd in the section for no where.

Oakwood fishery Doncaster open match’s

Saturday 5th match 2022
Pairs match with Josh Brandrick

I drew peg 8 on mail lake been told it hold a fair few fish and to cut the story short I’ve fished feeder and a long and short line on maggot and micros and bites have been few and far between.
Ended the match with 27lb odd and he also had a hard day to.

Sunday 6th match brought me to another open this time they was 5 mbd lads there.

At the draw I drew peg 3 and with Brownie Brownieon 1 and my uncle on the other I knew I’d have a good day even if I didn’t catch. I set 2 long lines and one track, I knew it would be hard I fed fishery micros and followed over the top with double red maggot I’ve had 6 bits 6 fish for 7lb odd and well done on sutty for winning and my brother coming third.

Jansons charity match

At the draw I drew Munrose lake peg 4, I know I can produce and with the colder weather the day before I knew it was gonna be a little hard.

Bait prep
Castors soaked in monsterbaits hot honey and this is by far the best dip I’ve ever used the smell is unbelievable.

A mix of 4mm and 6mm also socked in hot honey.

Started off topkit down the edge after half an hour feeding 2+2 castors shallow and loosing 6 down the edge I though it was a change of plan

Long story short I fished shallow for the rest of the match on castors slacked in monster baits hot honey dip ranging from 7inch to 16inches and ended the match with 153lb for 5th in my lake beating mr brownie😉

Men club match at Jansons on aubreys

Cut the story short if you have ever fished there it’s one a Chuck but with the help of a few quality baits from monster dips gave me quality fish
fished top 2+1 feeding castor enhanced by the wasp grub enhancer and fished topkit down the edge with fishery micros enhanced by krill berry dip and honestly it’s the best dip I’ve ever used, when cupped in it creates an cloud and it instantly have me the edge. Ended the match with 119lb and 3rd on the lake!!!!

Open evening match on the Erewash canal peg 19

I set up one rig and it made 3 far bank swims feeding micro pellets enhanced by monster baits and dips krill berry and f1 sweet pellet blended on the hook and it worked a treat winning the match with 12.11lb

Otherton fishery, MBD club match

At the draw I drew peg 12 it’s usually only fished by staff but due to soo many anglers on the match it’s been put in!!

I set 3 pole lines up two to the far bank and one down the edge and thought I’d approach the far on the deck line with Micro pellets with monster baits and dips bait enhancer going over the top with a 6mm pellet.
My edge rig I made up a whole bag of monster baits and dips green mamber and two handfuls of micro pellets to my left and right platform with a piece of sweet corn over the top.

The far line fished okay I had 3 carp overall from the far bank and 4 down the edge for 33lb for second on the lake

Mill tackle open match at shelthill

At the draw I drew peg 14 which I knew was a good area and holds a fair few fish, I decided to fish a simple match as I’ve never fished the place and so I set up 3 lines (edge, top 2+2 and a little hybrid feeder to the far bank)

I started on the hybrid feeder and had a take first Chuck and I had high hope but then the bites began to get few and far between, so I let the swim prime and began to fish top 2+2 cut the long story short I had nothing on the pole down the edge and top 2+2

In the last couple of hours i stuck it out on the hybrid swapping and changing baits but just could get them going however I had my magic syrup and the amazing monster baits and dips wafter and they sure gave me the edge catching a much better stamp of fish. Ended the match with 32.15lb and coming 3rd in the match and just getting beat by my little brother Josh Brandrick 🤣 ain’t gonna be a next time mate.

Monster Baits And Dips

Fished Kodak lakes on the top pond about 3 weeks ago, the weather was horrible with the lake being frozen and temperatures no higher than 0 but through out the day the ice started to melt.

I set out aiming for a good bag of silvers but I didn’t know what to  expect with the water temperature being so cold and ice still ok the pond surface.

Wanted to have a simple day so I set up 3 lines bomb and maggot, long pole on the deck and a shallow line straight over the top at 14m.

Through out the morning up until 1 o’clock I fished on the deck picking the odd fish but I just couldn’t get them going and was missing too many bites however the Fish was there because I was getting soo many indication. I decided to switch to my shallow rig pinging pinkies packed full of flavour with the red krill maggentize and following over the top with a single maggot dipped in the monsterbaits and dips bait enhancer.

This line payed of ad in two hours I must of got 75% of my catch and it just shows that monster baits and dips gave me the edge.

I’m not one for enhance but I believe if I don’t use the maggentize I would of struggled, it is such and highly recommended product for winter to give your maggots the edge.

💥Not had time, but while I have an hour here we go💥

I fished a match 2 weeks ago due to work commitments it’s been hard to do a match report. I tried the new amazing 💥monster baits bait enhancer💥 and honestly wow, the bait enhancer is made to perfection honestly not the best to smell but obviously the fish like it!

Fished a small get together match down at our home ground Otherton fishery and oh my what a place, i got to my peg and was confused on what to do and with my brother next to me we both came to an agreement to fish far bank all day in 2-3.5 foot of water with one line on groundbait and a mixture of either dead reds, red and white maggots and pinkies and the other with micros and dead reds.

Cut things short I had nothing on the groundbait line, however on the micro pellet line I had bites but they wasn’t quick enough or big enough so I decided to change to feeding micros and trickling maggots with a cad pot fishing a single dead red soaked in monster baits bait enhancer.

I then started having more positive bites and bigger fish after half and hour the bites decided to die down and I had a feeling there was a carp in the swim and 💥boom💥 carp on! I then carried on fishing long pole till the end of the match and finished with 14lb of bits and 3 small stockies.
