What a debut season for this newly formed U10 girls team at Whalley Juniors! Whalley Juniors Girls U10’s

Playing a year up all season, they’ve taken on every challenge head first and absolutely smashed it week in, week out.

This group has come together so quickly, showing real determination, teamwork and massive progress from the very first kick.

Huge credit to coaches for the time, effort and belief they’ve put into developing this team.

And most importantly, a massive well done to the girls! You’ve been brilliant to watch all season. Proud doesn’t even cover it. 👏⚽️

This year’s WJFC Club award goes to Tony “Legend” Wallace — and it couldn’t be more deserved.

Tony gives incredible support to the club, especially with the huge task of cutting and maintaining the pitches for all age groups. His hard work, dedication, and willingness to help wherever needed truly make a difference week in, week out.

Quite simply, he’s Whalley’s very own Mr Fix-It — always there, always reliable, and always going the extra mile for the club.

WJFC Chairman, Dave Astley. I don’t think people always realise just how much he does behind the scenes to keep the club running so smoothly.

Dave has been around for years … a real legend (and we’re not sure he ever switches off!)
