Under 8’s (blacks) were defeated today against AFC Hyndburn, but the kids put in a brilliant effort and gave it everything right until the final whistle. 👏⚽️

⚽ FANCY A FRESH FOOTBALL CHALLENGE?

Whalley Girls U12s are looking to welcome one or two experienced players into our squad for 2026/27.

We’d love to hear from girls going into Year 6 or Year 7 who already enjoy their football. Whether they currently play on Saturdays, attend a skills centre or extra coaching, or are simply looking for a regular Sunday team where they can continue to develop.

⏱️ MEANINGFUL GAME TIME
We deliberately keep the squad small so every player gets plenty of involvement, time on the ball and opportunities to develop.

🧠 DEVELOPMENT-FOCUSED COACHING
Sessions are designed to improve technique, confidence and understanding of the game, while keeping football enjoyable.

🩷 POSITIVE, AMBITIOUS AND FUN
After a brilliant season competing up an age group, we’ve built a supportive group where the girls work hard, encourage each other and enjoy playing together.

Whether your daughter is looking for more Sunday football, a fresh challenge or simply a different football environment, she’d be very welcome to come along to a training session, meet the girls and see how she finds it.

⚽ **Whalley Girls U12s – NEW PLAYERS WELCOME** ⚽

Is your daughter looking for her next football challenge or more opportunities to play on Sundays?

We’re looking to welcome a couple of **U11 and U12 girls** into our established U12 9v9 squad for the 2026/27 season. This could be perfect for an U11 player ready to step into 9v9 football or an U12 looking for a friendly new team.

We keep a small, balanced squad so every player matters, gets meaningful game time and has plenty of opportunities to develop.

Last season, while playing up an age group, the girls achieved:

🏆 4 tournament wins
🏅 2 cup semi-finals
⭐ A top-division finish
⚽ A full season of 9v9 experience

📍 Training: Wednesday evenings at QEII Playing Fields, Whalley
⚽ Matches: Sundays in the East Lancashire Football Alliance
