Weekly Classes -
* slow flow yoga for when it’s hot and get deeper into stretch and areas we don’t often get into to release tension and correct posture.
*faster flow for when it’s cooler, to build a little more stamina and strength with a dash of Pilates and plenty of stretching, breath focus and relaxation.
*yogalates for core and back strength,
* chair yoga for when a full practice is too much or when rehabbing an injury or just wanting something a little gentler when exercising.
*dancing for mood boosting, calorie burning giggles

We also have yin and restorative yoga once a month from the comfort of your own home as well as private session tailored to you.

🌿 Not All Yoga is the Same 🌿

Slow down. Breathe deeply. Move mindfully.
If you’re looking for more than just a fast workout, my traditional length 90-minute Hatha Flow Yoga classes might be exactly what you’re missing.

Some stretching.
Some strengthening.
Some flowing.
Some stillness.
Always working with the breath awareness and mindfulness.
Starting and ending in relaxation.

🧘‍♀️ What makes my classes different?
✔️ 20+ years’ experience – grounded in safety, breath and tradition but also including modern anatomy knowledge, Pilates core inspirations of inner strength and functional movement, all still working in a mindful way without the sweaty ‘more and faster’ approach.
✔️ Clear guidance with options and modifications for all bodies and abilities
✔️ Small groups – you’re never just a face in the crowd
✔️ A relaxed space to recharge, no mirrors, no pressure, no egos
✔️ Fully qualified, insured, and attentive teaching

📍 Held in community and village halls, supporting local business and historic buildings – with free parking
🕙 Mondays 10am & 7pm | Wednesdays 10am
💻 Zoom also available if you’d rather join from home avoiding traffic, being familiar surroundings, allows for no rushing form work to home and back out, and adding in that often needed motivation and accountability that just following along to a recorded video doesn’t provide.

Come and try a class!! You’d be most welcome 😊

The other night, when I was mid downward dog, I found myself thinking about all the reasons I keep coming back to yoga each week.

I'll be honest - I am not the best yogi in the room. My teacher kindly insists there's no such thing as "not good at yoga" which I'm choosing to believe and I have got better over the years.

But there are definitely people (or as my teacher calls them 'our super flexy friends') in my class who make every pose look effortless, and I won't pretend I'm sometimes a little envious. But I enjoy my class, I know I'm better for it, and that's enough. 😊

And as someone who works with women in perimenopause and menopause, yoga is one of the forms of exercise I recommend most.

Here's why:

𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 — When oestrogen levels drop, our joints and ligaments feel the impact. General stiffness and pain becomes a real issue for a lot of women. Regular stretching and movement makes a genuine difference.

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 — Many yoga poses use your own body weight, so you're quietly building strength at the same time.

𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀— Within ten minutes of starting class, I know exactly how I'm feeling that evening. Some nights I feel strong and energised. Others, I arrive feeling tired and a little overwhelmed. A good teacher will let you adapt your practice to meet yourself where you are.

𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀— When you're working through something challenging, that focus takes over completely. It's mindfulness without having to try too hard.

If you're thinking of giving it a go:

✔️ Look for a teacher with proper qualifications who can guide you safely
✔️ Classes vary a lot in style and difficulty — find one that feels right for you

And if you've ever tried yoga and thought it was a little slow and gentle... that's rather the point. 😄

Namaste 🧘‍♀️

The Weybridge Yoga Class now has a new day and venue, so if you could no longer make the Monday class anymore or didn’t like the venue as was sometimes a bit chilly (especially the floor!), then maybe Wednesdays would work better for you and so far, it’s been a very cosy new venue and had very positive feedback on it.

So, maybe it’s time to consider coming back? You’d be most welcome!
