Fresh from an incredible West Riding League and Cup double, Wetherby Girls are building for the new 11-a-side season – and we’re on the lookout for new talent!

With teams expected to compete in both the Junior Premier League (JPL) and West Riding League, there are fantastic opportunities available at all levels.

Throughout May, we're inviting interested girls to come along to training sessions and friendly matches as part of our open trials.

🏆 Double Champions! 🏆
Huge congratulations to our Tangerine girls, who capped off an incredible season with a league and cup double!

In a tightly contested final against Forza Academy, the team dug deep to secure a gritty 2-1 victory in tough, hot conditions. Every single player played their part, showing real heart and determination.

The club couldn’t be prouder of this amazing group – a fantastic achievement and a season to remember! 🧡⚽

Incredible performance by the girls yesterday to clinch the West Riding Divison 1 title with a playoff decider win over Forza Academy. Both teams played a strong game and showed great determination with the tangerines ultimately coming out on top 5-2. A fantastic reward for the consistency and quality shown by the girls throughout the season. 🍊🏆

Wetherby Lions U12 are looking for new players for next season as we transition to 11-a side.

We play on Saturday's in Division one of the West Riding Girls League and are reigning West Riding cup champions.

We've a great group of girls who play good quality competitive football in an enjoyable environment. We offer DBS and FA qualified coaches within a well structured club structure.
