Welcome to Rob Salmon Football Skillz School - The aim is to turn potential into excellence. The main focus of Skillz School sessions will be on the technical aspects of the game and to encourage creativity and self-belief so that each child reaches their full potential. Every session at Skillz School will have a progressive syllabus which is fun and fast moving, which in turn is designed to creat

e intelligent , skilful players that have a real passion for the game and are exciting to watch. At Skillz School the children will learn a range of new skills and turns and the ability to use both feet to dribble and shoot. They will grow in confidence to be able to take what they have learnt into 1v1 situations and small sided games. As well as learning these new skills in a fun and friendly environment, they will also make plenty of new friends and learn about team work. Player Attire
Every player will be expected to wear football trainers appropriate for indoor use. Shin Pads are to be worn to every session and own water bottle to be brought along. Pricing
Unlike most other clubs Skillz School runs all year round including School holidays. Most Franchise operations which may ask for large payments in advance for each of the school terms, Skillz Schools divide the annual price into 12 monthly payments of £22.00. This reduces the cost you pay up front and also means you are not tied in for long periods if your child decides that they no longer wish to continue. If your child wishes to continue the sessions after the initial trial period of ‘pay as you go’, please ensure that your standing order is paid on or before the 1st of each month. Unfortunately we are unable to offer reductions to any training costs for any type of absence. Class Change

It is of great regret and sadness that I am unable to continue Skillz School.As most of you know I walked away from a business to pursue a full time career in football coaching knowing how difficult it may be financially to find the amount of hours in coaching of that of full time work. Unfortunately it has been very difficult and challenging to juggle part time work in the car industry and part time hours in football coaching as well as finding time to spend with the family. I have been offered a great opportunity within the car industry that after long deliberation have accepted. The position entitles working away and potentially long days.I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support. It has been a privilege and honour to work with so many outstanding players with so many amazing personalities and with so much potential.The most rewarding thing for me was to see the huge improvements from every young player I coached. Not only have I witnessed improvements in there technical ability and game understanding,but a huge improvement in work ethic and the desire to improve and recognise that personality, resilience and a great attitude is as important as natural ability.From players that was new to the beautiful game to those that are having success at academy level the improvement in all was amazing to see. I really do wish you all the success on your football journey and I hope to see you all along your football pathway. The last Skillz School will be Tuesday 20th at Churchill and Friday 23rd at Hans Price as I am away for the last week of the month in Spain coaching.Can you all please ensure your standing orders are cancelled so no payments go out on the 1st of the month.Again I really would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the very best and all the success you all deserve on your football journey.⚽️⚽️⚽️

Morning all. Unfortunately there is no Skillz School tomorrow evening at Churchill School as I have a CPD with North Somerset. The class on Friday is still on so if anyone from the Tuesday session wishes to do the Friday session I'm more than happy. If you could let me know that would help ⚽️👍

Afternoon all. Here are the Christmas and new year training session
Hans Price closed closed Tuesday 19th December - Wednesday 3rd January so next session will be Friday 5th January
Churchill Sports Centre
Last session will be Tuesday 19th December and we will return on Tuesday 2nd January.
Any players that do Friday evenings at Hans Price are more than welcome to do the Tuesday sessions until Hans Price re opens.

Evening all. Just to make you aware that the Tuesday class this week Tuesday 19th will be cancelled as I am on my UEFA B football course this week. It will be back to normal Tuesday 26th. If any players in the later class at Churchill 6-7pm would like to do the Friday class at Hans Price ( Weston) please let me know.

Last week of school holidays guys so if your looking for something to do then come along to the last two football camps days at Baytree Recreational Ground Tuesday and Thursday 9-3pm.
It's £11 a day and you need to bring your own packed lunch and refreshments. ⚽️⚽️

Afternoon all. Really struggling to get back for 5 o'clock class at Hans Price tonight due to bank holiday traffic. All players that do 5 o'clock class be great if you could do 6 o'clock class as it's games night. Will start with 1v1s leading into 3v3s then finish off with a small sided game. Many apologies for late notice but have just been informed that travellers are on Baytree Recreational Ground so purely for the safety of all the children we have found an alternative venue for tomorrow's football camp.
